    It does what it is suppsed to do and the App is easy to use without glitches. I set one of these up at one of my rentals in the laundry room in the basement to activate a dehumidifier during rainy/humid days. I can remotely turn the device off and on from 20 miles away based on need. I determine need by looking at the video camera in said room.

    Already had 2 of these WiFi mini plugs from the same brand. My room doesn't have a light switch so I have a lamp connected to one of these plugs and synced with an echo dot. I just tell Alexa to turn on the lights and it does it in a breeze. Much easier than having to walk in the dark to where my lamp is. Also I can turn it on and off from my phone which is also very convenient. Would definitely buy more products from TP-Link Kasa.

    All this product does is open and close a circuit for you; and gives you the ability to do it remotely. By itself it's a simple was to turn on your string/holiday lighting. Put together with the rest of the products (light switches, cameras) and this becomes the most affordable smart home tech the world can depend on. Definitely a good gateway buy to start your smart home adventure.

    Added TP LINK to control a lamp. Set up is a little different. Have to add a Kasa account and then enable Alexa to operate the device. Works great once it's set up. Can be used to power all kinds of electronics.

    This mini plug is small yet packs a big punch. I connected it to a living room lamp then to an Alexa device. It took some time & patience to hook them all up together but once I figured out it was fine.
