Different outlets face different directions and make it tough to scan the QR code on the device to pair them. Had trouble getting a few to connect to the network, but once they did they have worked great!

I eliminated mechanical timers for my tree's Christmas lights. Also, the setup in the Home app (Apple) was easy. I like the tracking of electric usage and scheduling.

We have a Sense power monitor and it's the only type of smart plug they automatically recognize. The only reason it's not 4 stars is that the in-app stats are pretty basic. The newer models are much better in that regard.

I’m able to turn lamps on with just my voice. I especially love it on my kuriq coffee maker. I wake up in the morning and say “Alexa turn on the coffee maker”, and by the time I make it to the kitchen it’s ready to go.

Don't buy the Apple Homekit version

Forced to go through apple home instead of just going connect to wifi > app > setup route. It's ridiculous that apple home latches onto the wifi and assumes we want to set it up in their godforsaken app.

Since the vast majority of customers who purchase this HomeKit model do so with HomeKit integration in mind, the current setup process is designed to directly assist with this integration method. Seamless setup

Had one defective plug and the TP Link customer service was pointless, ended up returning to Best Buy and got a new 2 pack. No issues with them so far.
