Thank you for your review. Our smart plugs, bulbs, and switches are designed for quick and easy setup using the Kasa app. If you're having difficulty connecting them to your network during setup, please ensure your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong at the smart device's location.
Please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.
The audible click is an industry standard for smart plugs, as there is a mechanical action that occurs when turning the smart plug off or on. We appreciate your feedback regarding the audible click that occurs when the plugs switch between their On/Off states, and we will share it with our Kasa team for future consideration.

I am quite pleased. It works flawlessly and the setup was very easy. Price was excellent as well!

I’ve investigated this particular one in the past, but now that I started expanding beyond just smart lights, I figured the next step would be making some of my “dumb” devices “smart,” I decided to purchase this and it works incredibly well, seamlessly with everything else I have via Apple HomeKit and the app that goes along with this wonderful smart plug. Between my lights and my new addition here, I can easily control most of my devices, whether I’m home or away now. This is a must buy if you plan to integrate further into the 21st century evolution of the smart home!

Attached kasa account to Alexa and Samsung Smart Things. Good value when they are on sale. Constantly finding new places to use them- buy some extras!

Some reviews said that these don't work with Google Home, but I had no problem setting them up at all and they have remained perfectly functional ever since install.

They work with Samsung smartthings and Google Home. While other plugs are similar, I have the Kasa app and know the ins & outs of getting them to work, which is really easy. Plus Best Buy tends to keep them in stock so if I want one, they are easy to get.

The ability to see the power usage of the device you have plugged into it was great. You can see the impact of switching from a normal bulb to an LED bulb . Will probably use this on some other devices to see how much power they draw.
