I have several from different manufacturers, and these are the best. They seem to be the most reliable in terms of keeping connection and are very well built. I have had problems with others, but not these.

I'm using mine to schedule daily modem restarts. I was hoping the little light on the side was a nightlight but it's not. I wish it was less blocky, if you tried to use this on a power strip/surge protector it would take up way to much space.

A couple times I unplugged it and then plugged it back in, and it started working again. But there was times that I struggled with getting this thing to work.

Thank you for your review. In your case, we first recommend ensuring your router's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network signal is sufficiently strong and stable at the smart plug's location. We also suggest ensuring the firmware of your smart plug is fully updated, by selecting Me → Firmware Update within the Kasa app.
As a general note - please also ensure your smartphone is not connected to a VPN during setup, as this may interfere with the installation process.

Its a great way to start your smart home set up and makes you feel like you have super powers to turn on lights and things with your voice. I bought 2 to start and would definitely recommend it.
