Great for Apple Users

Easy To Set Up

Returning it today. Pay careful attention when you purchase the Kasa Plug. These require Homekit to install. I've got six Kasa Plugs already, none of which are HomeKit. So, my bad for not paying attention to that. I have an iPhone and Homekit so I thought these would still work. The installation video shows using Homekit to add them back into the Kasa App. That never worked after MANY frustrating attempts. I did finally get one to connect to the Kasa App, via some combination of steps I could never repeat on the second plug. I am returning them and buying the non-Homekit version. TP-Link support was totally useless. Sent me in a do forever loop of online support and they make it impossible to talk to a real human. Not sure there are any real humans there. I never got to one. Hopefully, going back to the non-Homekit version works. I've been very happy with the ones I already have.

I know cause I have been yawing them for a few years and I got more. It’s all great but I had a little trouble with it. I had it set to change at 2 am. That’s when the clocks change for daylight savings. The two struck at the same time and fouled it up. I had to do a factory reset (hold the button down for two full regular reset cycles). I’m guessing that setting it for 1:59 or 2:01 a.m. might solve the problem… it will be a while before I find out though, haha.
