I bought a 2 pack a couple years ago for our Christmas tree and decorations. Easy to use and set up on our Google Home. I even showed my 13 year old son how to set it up on the app. I rename each one depending on the holiday and decoration connect. My wife loves it so all she has to say is "Hey Google turn on the Christmas trees"!

Got it during Black Friday deal. The set up was good and easy to use it. I am not sure whether this can be used in outdoor, but I am using this in my garage for the plant light that I have brought the plants indoor during winter. It works like a charm

Great, no complaints. I've been using these for years to control outlets from across the house hands-free (e.g. turning on/off hard-to-reach home theater subwoofer, modem resets when needed.) I've never had any issues with them; very much "set it and forget it." App works over local network with no internet connection necessary. Just consider their size, as they are a little bulky when plugged into a power strip.

These things are awesome easy set to set up and very responseive. Wish the QR scan code was on the top instead of the plug, which would make it easier to use during set up, but a minor item. Highly recommended.

Ive had to reinstall both plugs that I bought multiple times. After a couple of hours, it just disconnects. Now its to the point where im just using the button on the side to turn my Christmas lights off and on- not the original plan when I bought these but it is easier than plugging and unplugging I guess. Big thumbs down on this one!

We always recommend ensuring your router's Wi-Fi signal is adequately strong in the smart device's location. Within the Kasa Smart app there's a feature that allows you to measure Wi-Fi signal strength of your smart devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.
If the signal is within the ideal range and you're still experiencing these symptoms, please ensure your Kasa Smart app is up to date, then update your smart device's firmware by selecting Home → Settings → Firmware Update within the Kasa app.

Bought 2 of these black friday weekend, I needed smart plugs and they were on sale. Spent several hours trying to set these up with my iPhone, nothing worked. I tried connecting from the Kasa app, the Home app, and by manually connecting to the device’s wifi network. I made sure my wifi was on 2.4GHz, I restarted my wifi router, I restarted my phone, I held the power button on the plug for 5-10 seconds to reset it and put it in setup mode, I unplugged/plugged it in a million and two times, NOTHING WORKED.
