Not great security. But great for other stuff

But for actual home security these are a sad joke. Someone has been breaking into my place literally for a year. Every time i leave my home. Ive never been able to catch a glimpse on these things! Had a teen stealing in my house, same thing. ....spend your money on something hard wired for home security. These are easily detected and hacked obviously.

Firmware update take forever never finishes

Would not suggest for average home security

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible product, input 64GB memory micro chip (scan disk) and it doesn’t keep info, tried several times to set up $3.00/mo kasa security and cannot seem to figure out how to implore that, plus you have to be connected to an unsecured WiFi and I can’t still get the camera to function properly.....engineer background would probably love this camera.

Day 2, SD card wouldn't work, format, etc. I bought a new larger memory SD card and still wouldn't work. I literally turn off/on the power source for it to take 1 picture upon detection. I have to reset after every pic. This forces you pay for the subscription. Its past the 2 week return date, so it's just a loss. I don't want to keep throwing away money.

Didn't feel like paying for support for new item

Went to their website for assistance, and to get support, they want you to sign up for a paid support service, that is "free" the first month, after they have your method of payment! No thanks! Not worth the trouble it took to try to get it to work. It seemed like a cool item, and the price was great...too bad it didn't work!

Not dependable

Bought this for downstairs since it was cheaper. Get what you pay for. This thing just turns off for no reason. I can't depend on it while I'm away. Ended up buying another pan tilt to replace it

This model includes a MicroSD card slow (MicroSD card not included) for local storage at no added cost. However, if you would prefer cloud-based video storage, then a Kasa Care subscription would be required.

Cannot connect to wifi

I have never had an issue. If kept saying not able to connect. I am exhausted! I really need a camera to watch my pets. They chewed up my previous one, which is no longer available to purchase.

Doesn’t work - always offline

I bought it so I could watch my dog when I’m away and the camera is always offline and there’s nothing I can do to reboot it after I’ve left the house. The purchase was a complete waste of money. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.

Overheats and diffcult to view footage.

Also difficult to pull up documents through their app and unless you pay a monthly subscription there is no way to view saved footage via wireless. Overall would not recommend.

does not let me view videos on the memory card
