Could be used inside the house as well. Would recommend for the price. I have other kasa products so the app works great and easy. Also can be able to shut off for privacy mode. Good if dont want the notifications going crazy and killing your phone battery.

Personally I prefer a higher priced camera but this one will keep an eye down the hallway. I have a camera in every room in my home. It is best to be secure and make sure there is a non cheating spouse
