I use this as a security and pet camera in my small studio apartment. The video quality is great and the app is useful. I like just being able to check on my pet and apartment any time I want as I habe anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Being able to check on things in the moment helps me work against the anxiety. Also notifies when it senses human movement and you can set it to only notify you then, so it doesnt tell you every time your animal sneezes or neighbor slams a door.

I bought two of these cameras so that I might watch my kittens misbehave while I'm at work. At first, I was not able to get the camera to connect, using instructions provided with the product but after contacting customer support, setup was quick and easy.
I recently realized that I can switch to 1080P for more clarity. Camera is working great and automatically tracks any movement.

The KC115 cams are handy, but the directions could be better regarding the optimal way to hang them. I had to re-hang the cameras a couple times to get a good view of the rooms I needed to cover to clear the cams hitting the walls or not having quite enough angle for a decent shot.
Inserting a microSD is not the most intuitive and took several minutes of frustration to find the slot, but once found I had to reconfigure my waypoints as they were almost all off. Without a microSD card the cams just have live view and don't even pickup on activity (I probably should've researched this a bit better). After installation of a microSD it takes a little bit for activity-based recordings to trigger in app, but they integrate well into the Kasa Smart home platform. Picture is clear and helped me know an unwanted bat had left my basement not long ago. They're not quiet when they move so anyone coming in can hear them, but the dog doesn't seemed bothered by the noise. I've had a couple app glitches like the wrong cameras view showing for a few moments when going in, but overall decent. The ultimate pass/fail will be how long they last and 3 weeks isn't long enough to say.

I love these cameras. They are so easy to use! And the price is amazing! I am buying more to monitor my entire house. Each camera allows me to speak into it and people can talk back in the camera. I can yell at the dogs to get off the couch. I can tell the kids it's time to do their chore while I'm gone. It's ridiculously cheap and I can have 24/7 monitoring for less than $10 a month with their account!

Its a very good low price indoor security camera. Pan/tilt is really good and silent. Needs a memory card to save the videos or Kasa cloud subscription needed. Memory card can support 24 hrs video storage so cloud is not mandatory unlike other Kasa cameras. Video quality unto 1080; and night vision is good.

Pretty good camera. Plug and play with downloaded app, very simple to set up and connect.
Pro to this camera is that you can set hot spots for the camera to automatically view. Also able to zoom in using the app.
Con to this is with the constant moving of the lens, it tends to get off track. I have had to manually reset the lens by using the app to pan down, then manually move the lens all the way down. Within the 2 months of having the device, I have had to manually set the lens at least 3 times.

I owned few security cameras of different brand and maker. So far this kasa spot is I think the better one. It's clear, respond quickly when you pan zoom or tilt. Easy to set up and so far so good and it serves its purpose. Hope it will last longer than my older cameras. Hope they have a black color available.

Bought it to keep an eye on an interior room in a distant house. Provided a great image, panned responsively. BEST
PART OF THIS WEB CAMERA! Does not zoom, but you can pinch & expand the image on a tablet without losing too much detail in the picture.
The built-in microphone is a neat feature. I received a notice from the software thru the App, noting movement. I opened it on my phone, and had a chat with the carpenter hired to fix a damaged window.
Worked great, put a large digital thermometer in front of the camera while away in the winter. The area is prone to losing power after a storm, which could knock out the furnace. Using a battery backup on the router and another on the camera, I weathered a couple of outages while traveling, without calling a neighbor for help to check on the house.
Open the app, check the thermometer and Done!
The option to add in a memory card means, if you can’t check the live feed, you can do so later.
I did not buy the remote access feature, but I could get the card out on my return to see what happened to activate the camera’s motion sensor.
Biggest issue is with the App, I must close the App itself to get out of the live stream from the camera. Needs a much more thought-out design for this interface.

Great camera. I have many tp-link smart bulbs all over my house as well as smart outlets. Excellent products. This camera is no exception.
My only con would be that you cannot delete individual recordings (to my knowledge). You have to format the entire sd card to which will remove all recordings. Not a huge deal. Just something to be aware of.

I bought this camera for surveillance of my apartment. It includes an app for your phone so that you can get real time visual and audio feed of your apartment. It does cost a fee for the app though. It will alert you with notifications on your phone if there is movement in the area of the camera. A great cheap security measure.

Use this to keep an eye on a family member that is sick and was able to pick up audio to hear any abnormalities in coughts or hiccups. No complaints aside from it sometimes having connectivity issues at some points but that was only when several people would log in at once.

Great video surveillance. I am currently only using it for viewing and the picture quality is fantastic. You can also record directly into an SD card or they have a service your can sign up for. Set up was simple and they work great. Night vision also!!!

Works great, my only issue with this camera is that you have to have the SD card to enable recording. I one several other Kasa cameras and they all work on the same app, but do not require an SD card to record video. I ordered an SD card to enable recording, but that is really the only issue is that you have to have an SD or all you get to do is watch live events. It has a great range of motion, and it can track movement pretty well.

Best little indoor security camera. Very handy in monitoring your home when away, using the app. Pan and tilt feature works great as does two-way mic.
Good purchase for the money. Awesome picture quality.
