I compared this Wi-Fi adapter with an EDUP wifi adapter from Amazon. This one had a more balanced download and upload speed. This means that download speeds were consistent and the upload speeds were consistent. It provided for more smooth video playing. However, my EDUP wifi adapter was able to have greater download and upload speeds, but was more inconsistent in its speed rates. It would download fast one sec and a little lower the next. I felt this affected the smoothness of playing video content. This wifi adapter though only has one band. The 2.4 GHz. Overall, it's good for basic web browsing. I would not recommend it for tons of video content.

My dilemma was, Windows 10 do not operate with some of my Hardware , this really fit the need.. if you're looking for a Wi-Fi card for your computer. This is much cheaper. Works perfect with Windows 10. Now one of her older work computers is back up and running.

Love this. It's tiny and plugs in a USB port and allows the computer in my basement to easily connect to the Internet. Great connection speed too.

Read a lot of reviews before buy this LINK - Mini Wireless N USB Adapter, the set up very easy and quick to use with my desktop computer. I don't use my desktop too often, once one a month, in the first 2 months, when I using my desktop to search the internet, the start up was very slow and it start to freeze my computer up. I was thinking maybe my computer is old. But I can't even open my firefox and have to restart the computer every time. Now I just leave my firefox screen open, so I don't have to restart it every use. I gave it 3 stars because the wireless connection not dropping and cooperate, but I still have to restart my computer or turn off the wifi connection and turn back on.

Windows recognizes it and installs the drivers and it just works. A very reasonable priced solution to add wireless to any desktop

I bought one for myself and liked it so much that I bought one for my son as well. The setup is easy and it seems to deliver fast speed.

Got a new computer and moved what was a wired internet connected HP desktop to another room. Tp-link connects old desktop online no problem - a little slow but that is the old computer I am sure

We bought a new Dell desktop computer with Windows 10 and unfortunately can only connect to the Internet wirelessly because the router is upstairs. Bought a computer without an internal wifi device, so I bought this cheap device and it works! Does the job for a fairly effective price. Chances are you only need this for a pretty cheap machine, so at $15+ it def eats into the savings you think you got from that "cheap" computer. Anyway, just plug it in to a usb port and follow the prompts - very easy!

This wifi adaptor is a great price and does exactly what we needed it to. For the N-capability, the wifi works well. This was used on an old laptop running Windows Vista and was a much cheaper option than replacing the broken wifi card. Great product for a great price!

I purchased a new desktop without wifi connectivity. I installed the software and inserted Tp link into USB port answered couple questions and she was up and running. Great Connection! I have had no problems and I would choose this brand again.
