Worked for a year and a half then died. Didn't realize until just now that it only lasted that short of a time. Worked well while it worked.

I normally don't write reviews but this product is so impressive I had to share. Don't let the low price deter you. I have a tried a dozen USB wireless adapters and few have performed as well as this one. Range and performance is excellent and no issues with the driver. It performs better than some the latest AC standard adapters I've tried. Connection is reliable and not as finicky as others in regards to placement location. It simply works with no hassles. If you just need wifi for cruising the internet, the N300 transfer speed is more than sufficient. I have 100Mb service and am able to get the full bandwidth (download) consistently 40ft. away in a room adjacent to the router. HD video stream immediately and with no hiccups. For reference, I have the Linksys WRT1900ac router and Netgear Nighthawk R7000 at the other end of the house. This TP-link adapter connects to both routers perfectly. Highly recommended.

I purchased this for use with an older desktop running XP. I use this machine to attach external hard drives that serve as a local backup for photos and what not. The good news is it is easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. My biggest issue with the device is the slow connection speed. There are many issues here some of which may not be the fault of the device itself. The windows icon in the lower coner of the screen typically shows the device only connected at 1Mbps and this is with it simultaneously showing signal strength "very good". I have done some testing and it appears to be transferring for me at a rate of between 5 - 10 Mbps. That is pretty disappointing. I have tuned my network by selecting the best channel for the wireless router and a few other things but nothing seems to help. I attempted to post on the TP-Link user forum but I registered and never get an email from them so I can complete the process and post a question. This is the first and only wireless adapter I have ever purchased so I have no baseline for comparison. Good news is my desktop now has no wires. Bad news is accessing photos or other data from my Windows 10 laptops is fairly slow. I guess for $15 it's not too bad.

Very quick easy setup with software that is intuitive and unobtrusive. The WPS button was very convenient. I've used it for 3 weeks plugged into the front of my Windows 7 desktop and so far it has excellent signal strength and has not dropped my connection.

Unable to download driver to laptop. Corrupt disc. Product tech support emailed irrelevant work around directions. Didn't work for me.

Small compact and easy to use. The size of a small USB drive, easy to install and works exactly as intended.

Very bad i was getting like 1 mb a second download speeds

Moved my modem and router to the living room and left my computer in the bedroom without Internet connection with this mini USB adapter I just plugged it In then run the disc now my old computer is wireless and hook up to the network. The wireless reception that I received is excellent no loss in upload and download speeds for the price you can't go wrong

We have at least 30 computers connected to the network at work and they guys are always complaining about the internet dropping. I have an older, well built desktop that did not have wifi built in so I had purchased one of these for mine and it worked great. So I decided to try it on theirs, disabling the wifi on the computer and only connecting using these, it worked like a charm. It has been well over a month since anyone has had issues. They were having issues multiple times a day before. It was a cheap fix, even out IT people could not fix their issues. These work great!

I had used two Netgear powerline AV 200 adapters for years for internet access approximately 45 feet from my router. This USB adapter is at least three times faster, as well as being dual band. Easy set up.
