Unfortunately, the ISP brought Ethernet access into the place upstairs in the loft, which was just fine for my computers and server there, but not for the smart tv, the home theater computer, or the laptop. Solution: Install several of these adapters which server as wireless Ethernet extensions. All devices are now connected and have internet access!

At first I was kind of skeptic about it because I had such a bad experience with this type of adapters before but this one is the best. It comes with the network cables and everything all you have to do is plug one to the router/modern and the other one to the computer and you are all set.

Powerline connectivity and data transfer rates will vary due to network environment variables including: distance between adapters, network traffic, noise on electrical wires, building material and construction, quality of electrical installation and other adverse conditions.
First, please ensure both Powerline adapters are plugged directly into wall outlets - no surge protectors or power strips as these will directly interfere with the connection.
