In daily use, I noticed an increase in speed with less drops and buffering. Highly recommended if your using TP-Link hardware

It wasn’t easy to link and then nothing ever wants to connect to it so I am hohum about the product. Yes if you can get it to connect it extends my WiFi better but getting it to stay connected to anything is next to impossible.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.

Overall moderate improvements in Wi-Fi

I choose it over others because of positive reviews. Easy to set up after reading the directions. I tried it in a few locations and there were slight improvements in wifi reception which was disappointing. Last thing I tried was moving the device close enough to my PC to use the Ethernet port which vastly improved download speed but little effect on upload speed.

Set-up is pretty much plug-and-play, and no problems in either set-up (instructions are easy), or functionality. A hearty recommendation all around.
