It was a Pain to setup, but once configured that headache is gone. Sadly, once in awhile I have to unplug it and plug it back in - as it doesn't send out a signal. This happens one every several months.

My 2 story house was having issues receiving Wi-Fi signal throughout because the router is upstairs. Placing this at the base of my stairs has given my downstairs the ability to hold several devices, including streaming on my smart TV.

Signal with them is low at best. TV constantly cycling for signal, especially in the evening. Phone service with a different provider. Constant complaints when I'm talking on my phone that my signal keeps cutting out. Purchased this TP-link as a result of reading the reviews. Simple enough to connect. However...we are not seeing any noticeable difference in speed or connectivity. My iPhone 11 continues to cut out and the TV is not much better. Our modem is upstairs in the master bedroom. Put the TP link at the foot of our stairs. It's definitely in a great midway point in our 2000 SF home.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
