Great Extender/AP

However, I discovered it also has an AP mode which I ended up using to solve my problem better than AP. I already had a cat6E so I connected it to the AP from my main switch and changed the operation mode of the device to AP after having had the password and ssif set. Easy and works perfectly. I get about 600mbps and my link is 1gbps so I will take it over my previous 30mbps.

Working as designed

It is important to plug the item into a power outlet close to your TP-Link router as you are setting it up. I believe it initially connects to the router for the One-Mesh system via bluetooth or something. I tried setting it up in the same room, about 20+ feet away and it didn't work.

It solved a problem when my existing whole-house wi-fi stopped extending to an important area of our house. Once I put this extender in the room everything works again.

TP-Link AX1800 Range Extender

Set up took about 5 minutes with clear and concise instructions provided, didn't have to google anything. The house is concrete/brick construction, but the extender provides a full signal on phones/laptops, and the speed of the tv and PS5 has more than tripled. Definitely recommend this item.
