Build quality is good. Have plenty of feature on it. Image quality is decent. The response time is decent when you hard wire it and enable 24/7 recording. Not sure if it is my luck with the hard wire, the battery died after 2 months of use and had it sent it back for a replacement. TP-Link's support is speedy in sending a replacement.

I purchased this and had my electrician neighbor install it for me. It is hard wired and the chime functions along with the legacy doorbell. The pictures are excellent and it is very sensitive. It has picked up all of my deliveries and that is why I purchased it. I have also received excellent support from the company for any questions I have had.

Great product. Easy to install, following instructions. The sound of the ring is loud throughout the house. The app provides various setting alerts, which are easy to understand - happy to be able to set only alert for packages. Would recommend.

Works better than my ring doorbell. Instructions are pretty straightforward which makes it easy to install. I like the fact that it has a loud speaker that you can actually hear and understand the commands when installing. Has great, clear images and takes great images at night. The app is ok. For me its not that user friendly but I have to use it often so I can get use to it which is not a big deal. Not having to pay for a subscription is a plus! The sd card formatting was a breeze and works with no issues. All in all i think it is a great purchase for the money!

This camera was so easy to set up and the best part is that there's no hardwiring required. I already have a few TP-Link devices so connecting into the Tapo app was fairly simple too. The battery holds up well with motion sensors active. Pairing with the chime was easy too. Highly recommend if you're searching for a non-wired doorbell camera with high quality image.

The video quality is awesome and the doorbell captures all the details head to toe. The setup is very simple and the app is excellent. Very good features in the app to customize as per your needs. Only one recommendation to Tapo is to change the design of the doorbell and make it a little sleek. It protrudes out quite a bit.

Great little doorbell camera. 4 stars only because when I set up motion detrection notifications it would send false notifications at least a couple times a day. I tried adjusting it using the notifications area setup and still had false notifications. Ended up turning off the notifications completely. Now I have to open the app and manually check the footage if I want to see what happened near my door. I still receive ring notifications on my phone when someone rings the doorbell, but not if someone walks into view of the camera. Battery life was extended by turning off some notifications as well. I recharge the battery when it gets below 50%...which is about every 3 months. Am considering purchasing the optional solar panel to power the camera.

Easy to use and set up. I appreciate how well all my Tapo products communicate with one another. The front doorbell has very clear video and audio quality.

This video doorbell is a good upgrade for my house. It looks nice and the quality of the video is great at day and night. The only set back is the installation, it was somehow complicated.

Installation and setup was easy. I have found that even with the detection sensitivity, dialed down a bit, it still occasionally picks up vehicles going down the street or people walking along the sidewalk. Overall very pleased wit this unit. I can access the camera even away from home by using the TAPO app.

TD25 Battery/Wired Doorbell works as designed as long as your current chime will accept/work with smart doorbells. My original chime would not so I replaced it for $50. After I did that the TD25 worked great both ways either battery or wired. I used the old wire from current doorbell with not issues. I added an SDX mini SD card and it records 24/7. Because it wired the battery level stays @ 100%. Great video and pictures very clear.

We bought this Tapo after our old Eing doorbell crapped out. The Tapo had good reviews, so we thought we'd give it a try. Several weeks in, the cam alerts well and accurately. I only wish the alerts came with a video lreview like the Ring did.

Easy to install, low-cost, internal storage for recordings (don't need to pay monthly for cloud option even though it's available), comprehensive options within the app, can integrate other TP-Link smart devices (plugs, switches) within the app.

Work well and it can last for months and put anywhere and good/fit location. Easy setup and add with other Tapo products.

I'm truly excited over my new doorbell camera from bestbuy. I should've purchased this item years ago. I've been vandalized at my front door for packages before. I believe just from the sight of my new camera from bestbuy stationed at my front door creates a deterrent for future foul play. I told family about my new found security and they invested also. Awesome doorbell. Im only using the battery and the battery has lasted over a weeks so far with heavy use. Currently the battery is @ 88%

Setting up is easy. I chose to stick it on glass with the 3m tape. I found out that I could choose the spoken language. If I remember correctly, it goes; English, Korean, French, and Spanish. A good way to confuse people at the door. And you can change the ring color.

Great features and fast response using micro sd. No more monthly fees. Tapo app is good easy to use but can be improved for allowing deleting some saved clips. Why have to format the sd card and delete all as the only option????

Works well with great clear video which you do not need a subscription to record as it comes with a sim card that records until full. I've had Ring before and this one beats it with clearer video with no monthly Fee.

Best customer service hands down. The staff is super friendly and understands where you come from. I recently made a lot of purchases and it all went super smooth. Highly recommend!
