The install was simple, although this switch does take up more space than standard single pole. Easy integration with HomeKit. Dims lights as expected. Has worked flawlessly since install.

I followed instructions but initially couldn't get it to power on. I turned you getting an electrician out to install it, who told me that I mixed up the line and load. It worked afterwards. Connecting Matter worked well and waa easy. The annoying thing is that if I click the switch to quickly (not a matter of how hard I press, but rather how briefly) the switch does not recognize it. This was not an issue with my Kasa switches. Not a big problem but you have to make sure to click it for what seems to be more than a third of a second.

Sometimes needs a second press to work. seems lightly laggy. it does the job but I don't know that I'll get more of this model. Not recommending because I think there are better products for the money.

We always recommend that you ensure your router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal is adequately strong in the smart device's location. The Tapo app has a feature that allows you to measure the Wi-Fi signal strength of your smart devices. When the app is connected, please check the signal strength in the Device Settings menu.
If the signal is within the ideal range, and you're still experiencing these symptoms, it's vital to ensure that your Tapo app is up to date. Also, updating your smart device's firmware is crucial. You can do this by selecting Me → Firmware Update within the Tapo app.
