I installed this in a room where I have a camera so that I can turn light on remotely if viewing the camera. I pulled the old switch to replace but since there was a ground wire not connected to old switch I contacted my electrician for assistance. Otherwise it would be a simple install.

One of the best lights switches i have ever had. You can connect it to your phone and to wifi.you need a neutral/ground wire sadly. Over all 10/10 for both usability and installation.

Purchased two of these after the install one of them wouldn’t connect to Apple HomeKit but connecte just fine with others Ecosystem. Called Tapo customer service and after hours of troubleshooting, emails supplied info. They finally confirmed that one of my light switches is defective. The catch is that I have to send it at my own dime, and when they receive it and doublecheck it , that they will send me a replacement. I said NO thank you. I just headed then to my favorite BestBuy , explained the situation and get a replacement right then on the spot.(How about that) this is the real customer service.

wiring up was easy and they work great. Tapo app is easy to operate. Had some issues getting to link with google home but in the end it is working now.

I ordered the Tapo Smart Wi-Fi switch and it was deliveried earlier then projected. Installation was simple, setup went well and the switch works great. I have had the switch in place now for several weeks w/o issue. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent. The only issue is having to have the neutral wire otherwise they won’t work. Only one light switch in the entire house has a neutral wire so I had to return all the others and use TP Links Tapo brand of smart light instead. Also it doesn’t screw into the light switch spot so it might be loose but mine might be a little too big. There’s another light switch that is cut too long and an electric socket with the same issue so maybe that’s why.

These are some great matter light switches. They require a neutral but this is in most homes. Hooked up nicely with my Homekit home.

It is really easy to installed and it integrates really well with my Alexa and my smart home appliances.

Solid! Connects to my alexa so no need to leave bed most of the time.

This switch had detailed instructions on how to install and set it up. Was very easy to add to Apple Home via Matter.

Reasonably easy to set up and the device does what it is supposed to do, but TP-Link makes you load another app (Tapo) on your phone when I already have a TP-Link app (Kasa). Why two apps for the same company? Hoops to jump through to get Tapo up and running drops it down to four stars.

Very nice. Don't have to get out of bed to turn off the light.
