Great switch, but with a killer drawback for some.

Its not very deep so easy to work into existing lighting. Setting it up with Matter and Homekit was very simple. The one killer issue though, is that this switch’s Matter implementation only exposes it as a “Light”, so when you set it up through Homekit it can only be a “Light”. I installed it on a switch that only controls a ceiling fan, so now when I say “Turn off the lights” the fan also turns off. TPLink needs to add the option for this to be a Fan in their Matter support.
