Great smart plug. Easy set up and easy to use. Have Christmas light plugged in and have it on a timer through the app. Never have to go outside to turn on/off lights.

These are great! We have three of them for our Christmas lights outside and it’s amazing to be able to schedule lights to come on and go off so it’s one less thing I need to worry about. We do big holiday displays and this is such a time saver.

Works great. Setup and connection was simple. I have my Christmas lights connected to it. Love that I can set a timer to turn them on and off automatically!

This smart plug is perfect if you have a none smart device that you have to plug in to get it going. Personally for my self I have some parking lights that sit away from the property which I had to manually plug in, it was a pain to have to go down and plug them in and unplug them. The Tapo smart plug eliminated this. I was able to connect it with the Tapo app and the pairing went smooth, since this also has matter support I was able to integrate it with the HomeAssistant. When using either the Tapo app or Homeassistant I am able to turn on and off the parking lights and there is no lag what so ever. The Plug has a solid plastic built to it and the buttons have a firm tactile feel. The Smart plug has held up great in the outdoors ( 2+ weeks of 104+ temp) and i dont see any cracking from sun damage.

Got this on a good sale. Used it for my outdoor Christmas tree lights. It was easy to set up and use through the app.

I bought this outdoor plug to use with our lighted door garland and tree lights. The plug was easy to setup and there were no issues connecting to my home network. Two sets of lights can be connected to this plug and can be controlled independently. I can easily turn the lights on or off using Alexa.

These are a must have for outdoor lighting. Plug device in, set on / off time on phone and it's set. We have several of these.

So far, works as planned. Easy set up and easily added to existing system of similar smart devices. Never really had a problem with TP link products. Any issues usually resolved by simple restart or unplug then plug back in.

Great product. I have installed our blowup snowman on one line and the overhead lights on the other. Once the APP is installed, it recognized the unit when energized. It attached with Bluetooth and then allowed attachment to out WIFI. It also asked if we wanted to allow control with Alexa (or other device). Flawless linking.

I got this to replace an older WeMo outdoor devicw that was no longer supported an i’m not dissaponted at all. It was very easy to setup and it easy got the old device replaced in my Apple Home automations

I’m not sure why, but I have purchased 3 of these over the last few years, and they all have different model numbers but work nearly the same. I waited until these were produced to support HomeKit, and while they may have made a version specifically for that (I’m not sure if there was one specific for that) system, the matter ones are what I have purchased. The first was under the tplink bar, and the most recently purchased ones (this one included) are Tapo brand according to the label that appears in the app. They all work the same, so I don’t see a need to relabel them all. But, it is nice that you can custom name them in the Apple home app (the oldest one doesn’t allow a rename in the Tapo app directly which is odd, but I use the home app to control them all anyhow so that doesn’t really matter much). I had a bonus credit of some sort here, and it was on sale, so this most recent one ended up only costing $5 plus tax!

Bought this at a great price for holiday lights. Love this unit and highly recommened. Wait for a sale as I bought mine for $15. But even at $20, its worth it. Two years going strong and easy app schedule setup. Have purchased more smart Tapo plugs since,

Works well. Does what it is supposed to do. The app allows you to schedule on an off times. Very convenient. No connectivity issues despite it being outside

Great all weather plug that is compatible with Apple HomeKit and other smart home systems thanks to Matter support. Having two separately controlled plugs is very useful.
