Got this on a good sale. Used it for my outdoor Christmas tree lights. It was easy to set up and use through the app.

So far, works as planned. Easy set up and easily added to existing system of similar smart devices. Never really had a problem with TP link products. Any issues usually resolved by simple restart or unplug then plug back in.

I bought this outdoor plug to use with our lighted door garland and tree lights. The plug was easy to setup and there were no issues connecting to my home network. Two sets of lights can be connected to this plug and can be controlled independently. I can easily turn the lights on or off using Alexa.

Great product for Christmas lights/inflatables outside in the middle of winter... The fact that you can set a schedule for it to turn on/off (each port even) from the warmth of the house is awesome.

I set this up directly with the Home app on my iPhone, which was very easy. I do not have the manufacturers app. It seems to easily connect with the house WiFi. I noticed the response is better when i selected a hardwired device as the Home hub. That does not relect on this device, but a suggestion if you have some lackluster performance.

I had a WEMO Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug and had connectivity issues with it. Had some rewards to use so gave this a try. Easy set up and stays connected (as long as my router is stable!).

This was an outdoor Christmas lifesaver! I loved not having to go outside and unplug all of my Christmas lights everyday! The ease of setting it up was amazing too! I highly recommend this to anyone who puts lights up outside.

Bought these to control my outdoor Christmas lights. Will continue using them after Christmas for our backyard lighting. I programed them with the TP app, but control them using Google Home app, which integrates my doorbells, cameras, speakers and indoor lighting. Connect and work perfectly so far.

I love this cheap smart plug for the holidays! It makes setting a schedule to turn on and off my decorations easy. I dont have to mess with doing it manually anymore and should have done it years ago. The build quality is good and I dont worry about it shorting out being outside.

Works great, app is surprisingly useful. I had this wired up to control my green house lights and the heater over the winter, never a single issue. Love the scheduling feature

Works great for outside Christmas lights or festive lights in the summer. You can turn them on and off with the app on your phone or set a schedule for them

Excellent product. I have patio lights that i use intermittently. All I have to say is “Alexa, turn on the patio lights” and they come on after 1-2 seconds. Works also just as well shutting them off. Very sturdy and totally fine for outside receptacles.
