Works fine, easy to connect. Make sure you have a wireless router powerful enough to reach the location of the unit.

The plug in works with my ring app and you can create a widget to go on phone screen to control the plug in. It works great as intended, time setting is great and throughout christmas season i didn't have to turn on or off my Christmas trees the plug did all the work for me to enjoy.

These performed great. Used them for various Christmas lights in doors and they did a great job. Definitely recommend these!

These smart plugs are great! They connect to wifi very easily and quickly using the Tapo app. The app is really nice as well.

On a timer, I used these for my lamps with Alexa and my fish aquariums. They worked great. I will buy more.

Why I didn't buy smartplugs sooner is a mystery. They're easy to connect to the app and the echo dot in my experience. Especially useful in the holiday season when I have lights plugged into the not so easy to reach outlets. As a Total Tech member I got these at a great price and would buy them again.

I use this everyday with alexa when I wake up and go to sleep. Its extremely convenient to simply turn all the light on with "Alexa, good morning"!

These smart plugs are a requirement for any smart home! They seamlessly integrate into any apple or android platform and setup couldnt be faster! The only downside is that they do not monitor energy usage which has become a greater interest of mine as of late but that doesn't detract from the product as a whole. Highly recommend!

I bought the 3 pack and one of them were a dud, but i got them on black friday for like $15 so i didnt complain. The other two work great, super easy to setup through my apple home. Did not even download the app as i can care less about another app, i just want things to work with Apple Homekit which it does. The wattage it can handle is about standard and the minimum you would want on these things. Remember that the wattage on the back is the max it can handle including surging, which happens when you turn a device on. In other words, make sure you have plenty of buffer before maxing these out like using them with space heaters. Otherwise most all devices you have should work fine with this model. The fact this has matter support is the only reason these were bought. Hopefully my one that was a dud is just a fluke and not a norm.

works great. wifi stays connected (i've criticised other tapo wifi products recently) so when you hit the botton in your smart home kit, it switches right away and reliably. best tapo matter product I've used.

I was looking for a smart plug that works in apple homekit that was not overpriced. Setup was easy just scanned the code and it showed up in the home app. No problems with it responding and it’s quick turning on and off.
