Using Matter through Home app on iOS 17.2.

I am in the Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Alexa ecosystems. This plug supports Matter which means you can use all 3 smart home ecosystems together!!!

Since this is a Matter plug the Tapo isn't required. All you need to do is the Matter code that was included in the Google Home app. If that code has already been used then yes the Tapo app would be needed. If needed we do have a Matter Quick Install Guide on our website under the product's support page to help with the installation needs.
