Easy to set up, and I was able to set it up without the Tapo app by using the Google Home app directly. Works well to control via the app to turn on/off. The only improvement would be if the manual button on the side was bigger so easier to find by touch.

Great Smart Switches!

These smart switches have been a life saver. I go wild with decorations inside and out during several holidays. These solve the power on/off issues of the past. I have about 30 of these in use during Christmas all over my house. I use a Deci TP Link mesh system for WiFi and these have been stable. I replaced older smart switches from a big warehouse club house after I had connection issues between those and my new mesh system. I got these on sale during Black Friday and the pricing was surprisingly low compared to other solutions. A double win!

Love it! Bought it to use with my fish tank lights so I could set a scheduled time to come on and off. Unlike some other smart plugs I have, I never have had to resync it.

These are great little plugs! We used them with holiday lights and for lamps that my family continually forgets to turn off. Just be aware that while they are compatible with Google Home and other smart home apps, you still need to set them up initially with the Tapo app. I had hoped I wouldn’t have to add yet another app for yet another smart device. I do control the plugs from my Google home app most of the time but for scheduling and advanced features you need the Tapo app. The Tapo app has useful scheduling options, including one for turning lights on-off randomly while you’re traveling.

Plug is small and nonintrusive. Hooked up to my wifi easily. App is pretty straightforward. Using it to have a time running our hot water recirculating pump so it isn’t running 24/7. I like being able to shut it off from anywhere if I’m away for awhile.

These are great no need leaving your easy chair to turn on or off items.
I most use it to reboot my Doc station.

Smart plugs are very convenient because I can set schedules and use voice control. It was easy to set them up with Alexa except for one of them, for some reason, which I still can't get to work because I messed up the setup. At 3 for $30 on promotion, it was a good deal.

I recently purchased the TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini (3-pack) and I am thoroughly impressed with their performance. These plugs are exceptionally responsive and quick to act on commands, which makes controlling my devices a breeze.
The setup was straightforward, and I was able to connect them to my home network with minimal effort. What I find most convenient is the versatility of these smart plugs. With just one plug, I can control a wide variety of devices, making it a versatile addition to my smart home setup.
I also appreciate the compact design, which doesn't block other outlets, a common issue with some other smart plugs. Their compatibility with Matter adds an extra layer of convenience, ensuring seamless integration with my other smart home devices.
In summary, the TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini is a highly recommended product for anyone looking to add smart control to their home. Their quick responsiveness, ease of use, and versatility make them a valuable investment for smart home enthusiasts. Definitely a five-star product!

The TP-Link WiFi Plus Mini was the second Tapo product I purchased. The first, an outdoor plug, worked well. The WiFi plus mini was even easier to install. It became part of TP Link WiFi family after it recognized my account. Now it works doing daily service as the control for the Apple Watch charging time. Using Alexa’s help, I give the watch its morning boost for the day while I have breakfast.
Try it, you’ll like it for any similar application.

Very easy to use and install. I'm not a tech person and I found it very easy to use when I downloaded the app.

These little smart plugs have been great in the few weeks I've owned them. Setup is simple, takes less than five minutes. I like that they're small so they'll fit in most places. I've been using them for a couple lamps in my bedroom and being able to turn them on and off from my phone so convenient.

Would recommend. Pretty easy to use, just scan the QR code with the app and it connects automatically. You can turn it on or off from anywhere as long as you have WiFi at home and internet on the device your using to control it.

Works very well with…well anything. Lamps, LED Signs, anything that has a hard to reach switch. Also has a manual power button so you can still turn it off without using your phone. Works very well with alexa and/or google. Ive bought 9 so far and i could see myself buying more.
