Bought this in Jan 2025, it stopped responding in Jun 2025. I tried resetting multiple times, it works for a few min and then goes back to not responding status. Not sure what is going on, I will be gladly returning if they can this back! Not worth

Brought the plug home and plugged up and set it up, constantly kicking on and off and wont set up, will never purchace from this brand again!

Easy set up. Easy to use. I got these on sale during black friday. Very good prive. Overall awesome. The alexa environment is pretty cool so far. Lots of neat things you can do. Like, alternate wax warmers through the day using routines. A blink camera detecting motion can activate a tv, stereo, light or any other device. Think Home Alone... is there a commercial yet? Should be.

For the price it’s perfect. You get 3 smart plugs in the box. Download the Tapo App. The set up is straight foward. You can name each plug, that way you can place them, and know which one is which via wifi. They are small so the won’t block your other outlet on the same plate. Once you start using these smart plugs, your gonna wonder why you didn’t buy these earlier. You can set up schedules which is very helpful. And it even lets you knoe how much energy the item you have plugged is using. Overall, I really liked the purchase, and they are on sale for $25, down from the $50.

Great value. Setup was easy. I use with my Google Assistant. Love the fact that if it plugs in, it can become a Smart device. Only downside for me is you have to use the manufacturer's app to setup and im not a fan of adding more apps.

I like my outdoor outlet so much I orders these for indoor. My wife is legally blind and controlling things can be difficult. Once the APP is installed, it recognized the units when energized. It attached with Bluetooth and then allowed attachment to out WIFI. It also asked if we wanted to allow control with Alexa (or other device). Flawless linking. Each device can be given its own name.

These things are amazing, they are performing well. I am able to turn them on and off from hundreds of miles away. The only snafu I had was with the initial set up with the Tapo app. Once I figured how to configure them on the app, they are working flawlessly.

For 20+ years I've been using the old X-10 technology to automate our window candles and Xmas lights. I bought 15 of these to automate all that via my phone and Wifi. Super easy to set up, reliable and has great range.

Great gadget to help automate your home. Use with both Google Home and the Tapo app. Fast easy set up. Beats the old mechanical devices easily. Set up random or consistent times for on/off. Even has an "away" function that will randomly turn your devices on/off at various times of day. Manual override is easy too.

Excellent smart plug, easy to use. I run through home assistant and took 30 seconds to setup.

My first entry into having smart plugs was having WEMO brand plugs and they worked ok, I found issues over time with the WEMO brand ones disconnecting from the app and having to be reset so that got annoying. I kept an eye out for other recommended brands and I landed on the Tapo TP-Link plugs...BEST DECISION EVER. They have worked flawlessly. Setup is simple, control is great, you can even see all of the stats about how long things are on/energy used if you are into that. I just want a device that makes non smart things smart that I can turn on with my voice or even set a schedule. I would get these time and time again!
