Simple but very effective. Extremely user friendly if you use the Tapo App on your phone.

I've have numerous Kasa outlets from TP-Link that I use with HomeKit and this is my first Tapo ones. Set up was quick and easy. I really like their small size so no problem fitting 2 next to each other and in tight spaces. Also, the 3 pack was a great value. While I use HomeKit to control them, my kids have Amazon devices, so it is nice that they can be controlled by both. Definitely a great purchase.

I have the Kasa smartplugs already and I like them and the app. This was the "next best thing". Tapo has it's own app, but can be combined with the Kasa devices, which I was going to do, but decided not too. I love the features on the Tapo app. While I have not gone through all of them as I have not made the time, my favorite is the timer option! I can turn on a device and set a timer for it to turn off. In/with the Kasa devices, I would have to create a whole new set of "alarms". I love how quick and easy the Tapo app makes it. Super simple to set up and use.

I been looking for a controler from my phone if i left any appliance without knowing i left on. This is the the tool you can control anywhere from the app turn on and off. It has timer to turn off and on.

Inexpensive (about $8 total), easy to set up, and works like a charm. Used it to turn our Christmas tree lights on and off at scheduled times but my impression from reading the instructions is that it has other capabilities.

These were easy to use and paired seamlessly with my Alexa. The phone app is also easy to use. I love how I am able to now put my lights on a timer. I had a TP link from another company in the past and was unable to do that.

The Tapo smart plug is small and works great. I use it to reset my T-Mobile home internet router each night. The plug saves my routine for turning off the router and since it saves the routine internally, it can turn the router back when the internet is off. This function alone makes the plug worth the cost plus it is easy to set up with the app and Alexa.

These plugs are great for Christmas. I leave the plug connected to the Christmas items I set up each year. Then I only need to plug it in and the system is set up in the app automatically. I also use there for security to go on and off with in or out the house base on a schedule of day and time requirements. Great Item!!

Compact, easy to setup, and matter is a big plus for any new equipment. Downside is yet another app to download if you already own other products from the same company. Please just choose a brand name a stick with it.

Matter support makes it extremely easy to setup these smart switches. Immediately upon power up my Android phone prompted to add to the Google Home app. The Topo app is still needed for firmware updates but is equally easy to setup after adding to Google Home. Very happy with this purchase so far.

Works as expected. Am able to reset my cameras remotely as you need to unplug and turn back on. With this plug I can do remotely which is why I bought it. Will also work for anything else I want to operate remotely. Didn’t need anything to work other than the app.

Was pretty easy to set up and pair so long as you use the sticker that comes with it and not the smaller QR code on the plug itself. (Otherwise the QR code is too small for app to recognize or it’s too close to be in focus) Also it was pretty simple to hook up to my smart phone- just note that you should pair it to the smart home app (google home, apple home, etc) instead of the tp link app or wires get crossed and you’d need to reset it and pair it again to the smart home app. Makes it much easier to use all in one place. Once hooked up it works like a charm. Very responsive, and pairs right back up even when unplugged for a while.

I've replaced all my WeMo plugs with these Tapo plugs since they are about half the size (width). Have used these for about a month now without any issues.
