Installation is quite easy. I have 200 MBPS connection and have retained the speed better compared to previous routers. Almost two weeks and I did not require to restart the router. Holds up well.

Perfect router for the amount of devices I have connected at any given time in any area of the house. I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store and had it says sooner that expected. I would recommend this product and actually did to a co-worker of mine who ordered the same same router and modem as I did pictured within days of me giving the recommendation.

Great speed, reliability and coverage. The wifi6 capabilities are great if your smart devices support it. If not, the router is still easy to set up. I am using it as an access point with the archer 6000 and they work great together. Seemless handoffs and stable speeds. I work from home in a tech job that uses lots of bandwidth. I am typically using wifi wirh this unit and have no issues.

Very good router out of the box. Covers my 1700 sq foot spilt level house very well. I have been very pleased with set up and overall ease of use. I have also been able to add their Wi-Fi extender to my detached garage approx 100 ft away from router with great results

OK WiFi 6 router, must buy protection plan

It is OK WiFi 6 router looking at $74 price.
Don't forget to buy extra protection plan for this.
I had this refurbished router previously and exactly after 1yr due to some issue (I guess thermal/heat) it went into bool loop.
I opened it and the thermal pad was completely rotten. I had to throw it and buy again since this is the only cheapest WiFi 6 router around.
Good -
1. is it has two separate 2.5GHz and 5GHz network so you can chose what network to connect to.
2. 4 Ethernet RJ45 ports
Bad -
1. Has thermal/heat issues so it will betray you anytime.
The new one I got has given me a problem couple times already where after 4-5 it just stops and its internet LED turns Orange. To recover I have to restart it.
I'm watching it for the moment when I'll return it and use the protection plan I've bought with it.

Is it fast?

Is this going to improve my internet speed? That is easily one of the top questions when considering purchasing equipment like this, (Which I'll get to). First, if you are still paying your internet service provider to lease their equipment, I'll save you time and just recommend buying it right now. Depending on your internet speed, you may also need to purchase a modem. You'll not only save money in the long run, but you most likely will see a boost in your internet speed. TP-Link's Archer AX1800 is a good router and is a steal with its price tag. Setup is straight forward. Use your smartphone to scan the QR code, download the app and it will walk you through the easy setup. The AX1800 claims Wi-Fi speeds of 1.8 Gbps *. I have 1 Gbps fiber optic internet and after setting up the AX1800, I used my phone to test the speeds on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bandwidth. I was a few feet away from the router when I performed these tests. The 2.4 GHz topped out at almost 105 Mbps. The 5 GHz topped out at just over 677 Mbps. Not quite the speed advertised, but still very fast. For the price and the speeds, it would be hard to find a better entry level router.

This was replacing an old Linksys router that decided to call it quits one day.
Speed is not an issue with this item i am consistently receiving 280-300mb down and 120-150mb up. My previous router would max out an 100mb up or down even though it was a gig router.
The Wifi range is amazing signal strength of 80% or more with in a 1500sqft home. I dip into 40-50% when i am in the back yard.
Interface is not as fancy as the linksys which was made to be more "idiot proof". The setup is easy but tweaking the details and fine tuning i originally got lost in the menu screens.
Overall fantastic product, Great performance for the price.
Streaming HD 4K, Online Gaming, and running other smart devises work seamlessly after setting it up.

Added to Apple Airport Extreme Network

The AX1500 was bought to supplement my Apple Airport Extreme Network. I ended up using the AX1500 to be the main router that assigns IP addresses and used my Airport Extreme to extend my network. I used the same wireless network name for both the AX1500 and Airport Extreme and the two are working well with each other. Since the AX1500 has Wi-Fi 6, it's been 3 x faster than the Airport Extreme when using another device that is Wi-Fi 6 compatible. This purchase was well worth the $$$. My network usually has at least 5-6 devices that are surfing the internet or streaming 4K movies and the AX1500 has been handling the traffic without a hiccup.

Excellent Little Router!

This is a great little router. I love the fact it has an app and is basically a plug and play router. I connected it to my aris surfboard and plugged it into an outlet. Afterwards, I used the app to setup the network. There are quite a few setup options that you can configure, but I would say maybe it would the last 20% that are really in depth you would need to use the older web portal instead. I dedicated the 2.4g one to my smart devices and 5g for phones, laptop and gaming systems. I live in a 1k sq ft apartment and I have signal from end to end with speeds over 100Mbps on average. I have spectrum for reference. I don't have any wifi 6 devices so I can't attest to that aspect.

Great router. I had this for a month now and the performance has been flawless till now. I got this route to replace my old router. With my old route, the wifi speed was hardly 5 Mbps. With this router, my wifi speed jumped around 100 MBPS even when I have all my devices were on, I usually have about 12 devices using the wifi at a time. My current modem has a max of 100MBPS out, so the speed might have been higher if my modem had higher output.

Much needed upgrade!

To get an AX router at this price is a bargain. My previous router was an N that I had for 9 years, so this was a much needed upgrade. Broadcasts in both 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz, which is necessary for households with an array of devices some of which only transmit in 2.4 ghz. As more and more devices depend on WiFi in the home, an AX router is a necessary upgrade to better handle multiple simultaneous connections without bogging the speeds down.

Very stable router, fantastic speeds. Keeps up with my 500Mbps connection like it’s nothing, and will easily throw gigabit speeds between in-network devices. Also has a very impressive range, covering all three floors of my house with ease.
