After replacing an old Actiontec router you ca feel the speed difference with newer devices, problem is, it keeps dropping WiFi connection often, considering returning it. Easy setup but requires creation of web account.

This works great, but I was hoping for more in my installation. I am using it in my Airstream and the camper acts like a Faraday's cage. This helps, but it doesn't produce that strong of signal outside the camper. Sure helps inside though.

For such a low price point to enter WiFi 6 territory I was skeptical. However after switching to this router and installing a 3000ax compatible WiFi card my speeds went from 78mbps to 275mbps my intermet speed max with my isp is 300mbps so I am completely satisfied.

I bought two to replace my 1 nighthawk. had issues with dropped connections and connectivity from day one. I assumed that possibly my configuration of the two routers running at the same time may be the issue so i contacted tech support and was less than impressed by their efforts and understanding. So, i decided to use only one to make sure that they weren’t interfering with each other. Connection was still poor. dropped wifi a lot. many restarts. made my wifi enabled speakers virtually useless.even on devices very close to the router. In the end, purchased the mesh system this brand makes with much better results.

Easy to setup. So far so good. Seems that 2.4g band is a lot slower than the 5 g band. But not sure if it’s the router or if there are a lot of interference in the are though. But overall good buy.

Considering this router meets the new wifi 6 protocols it works a hell of a lot better with multiply devices simultaneously. The in app features are great at prioritizing certain devices.

I bought the Archer AX10 for the WiFi 6 upgrade because we switched our family to a faster Internet connection and started streaming video on more devices at once for distance learning at home. Unfortunately, the device has frequently lost connection to the Internet (connected through a Netgear CM500). At least twice a day the Internet connection would suddenly drop without warning. Resetting the router would fix the problem until it dropped again - sometimes within minutes, sometimes hours. I remained hopeful that a firmware upgrade would fix the problem, but when TP-Link finally came out with an upgrade the problem got way worse. I don't even try to use this router anymore because it drops the Internet connection every 5 minutes or so. For some reason, flashing back to the older firmware doesn't work...too bad I didn't send the router back right away. This has been one of those dreaded, super annoying, regrettable purchases.

I may have jumped the gun upgrading to AX this early. Moved to Spectrum, needed a wireless solution. My network runs 9 devices including cellphones, Roku & Amazon Fire devices, a wireless printer and a video doorbell. Bought in May and have struggled with this since. I've had problems with dropped connections consistently. I moved it to a more centralized location to aid in this. It cut the drops by 50%. Good step. I noticed few of my devices connected to the 5 Ghz band despite being located within 25 feet of the router. Now the 5Ghz network has stopped broadcasting entirely. I only get the 2.4 Ghz connections hence the 2.4 Ghz speed. My home is 1600 sq feet on two levels. I shouldn't need a mesh system but will likely move up to one. TP-Link has always performed well for me in the past. This product is confusing.
