    This card took a number of hours to take effect, more then 4 if I remember correctly. A sorry state if you need the data immediately. Usually these cards activate in a very short amount of time, a few minutes. 1gb of data doesn't last long. Without streaming anything, I can get as little as 2 1/2 days of general surfing.

    Great online service from Best Buy. A much wider selection of Tracfone cards than any of my neighborhood stores have. Just the card that fit my needs. Unlike the other mislabeled cards Tracfone offers. Their Unlimited 30 day cards include "UNLIMITED CARRYOVER DATA WITH ACTIVE SERVICE" but this proves untrue. The data expires when the 30 days are up, even if your service is still active under another plan. So zilch for Tracfone and 5 stars for Best Buy averages to a 2.5 star review
