I asked the sales rep if I can only buy the sim card kit & buy the service data online since they ran out in the store. He said yes. Apparently, I can't do that. Instead, Tracfone wants me to buy online from them together with the data.
The sim that I bought from Best Buy is useless now.

First time buying a sim from Best Buy. Bought on recommendation of the salesperson.
The good: worked fine, app clunky but works.
The bad: when I tried to stop the autopay, customer service "couldn't verify" my identity, finally recommended I cancel my credit card. Only by contacting the BBB did issue resolve.
The ugly: I wouldn't write this if it was just that. But after the whole incident, I started getting daily scam calls. I know it was either the BBB or Tracfone becuase this is a skype number, these are the only two entities on the entire globe who have that particular number. So, give your number to Tracfone = expect scammers.
