    These Tracfone sim kits used to come with sims for all three major carriers. The packaging used to come with an AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon sims and you could pick the carrier that worked most reliably for you. Unfortunately, Verizon purchased Tracfone company so now consumers have less choice. It's done to "give the customer a better experience" gaslighting marketing speak. There are still some older sim kits that still have all three company sims so you as a buyer, read the details carefully of what you are getting. Your geographical location determines how well the cellular service providers cover your area. Verizon isn't always the best. In addition, Tracfone's customer service is atrocious still even after being taken over by Verizon. I was told repeatedly my Google Pixel 6 Pro (5G) phone was not compatible with Verizon 5G service and they were completely unhelpful. I spent 2 or 3 hours for two days trying to get me switched over but they kept telling me my phone was not 5G when it is, its Google's flagship phone. I literally had to activate the sim card on another phone first. Then physically move it to my Google Pixel 6 Pro. Guess what? the sim worked perfectly well with 5G service. But tracfone was completely incompetent and I had to come up with the hack I described to make it work myself without their help.

    Its just a little card with a chip on it. What else can i say??? It worked once i figured out where it went on the phone. Its so tiny better get your tweezers out 1st.

    Tracfone tells me it was not scanned right at the store so now I have to make another trip to see if they can rectify the situation

    For only a dollar, this product is free. Not to mention that this is a great product that is very easy to install. I have used the same on previous phones and has never had a problem, so there is no need to change to anything else.

  • Sim Card does not work with Tracfone anymore

    Tracfone in now supporting only Verizon supported Sim cards. These sim cards now does not work with Tracfone. If you are planning to buy for Government provided phone service for Tracfone then I will highly recommend to buy Verizon supported sim card.
