The sound is poor, text messages works sometimes and ither times it doesn't work, I get buzzing noise sporadically when I'm talking to someone on the phone. Very poor quality. I'm not happy about this purchase. I will look for anither phone and try to return this phone within the 14 day return peiod. Such an inconvenience.

TracFone support was useless and made a bunch of false promises including saying they would call me back on my other phone and never did. Had much better luck with their competitors. I suspect the SIM card was bad, which can happen in any phone, but the support was non-existent.

Cannot activate phone

I have been trying for almost 5 hours, have been on the phone with Tracfone for almost 2 hours and they still cannot get the phone activated. Im sure it will be resolved but as of right now i want to throw my new phone at the wall

Good phone, if you can actually get it to activate

However, after well over TWO HOURS spent with support attempting to get it to work, I was told there was nothing they could do because the device was "already active" on their end, despite me having no data, no minutes, no texts, and no service whatsoever. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this, or any other TracFone products at this time due to the absolutely HORRENDOUS activation experience.

Will Be Returning

I know it's only like $50, but I also have a TCL alcatel a3 that was cheaper (like $30 I believe) and that works better than this Samsung. I don't like Android phones, but I use them for apps that pay you real money to play mobile games because they aren't available on Apple phones. Not even an hour after I started using this Samsung, it started lagging, and I don't mean a little lag. I mean, the UI even stopped working and froze. Also why is there no app icon for settings on the home screen? Not sure if Tracfones can be returned, but if so, I'm returning this tomorrow.
