I really like the new TrackR Pixel. It lights up better, has a louder ring, and is smaller than the initial Trackr Bravo. Trackr Pixel is awesome.

Really happy with my pixels so far. They have a very good range and the light up feature is really nice. I use these on my backpack, and my purse. Definitely a neat looking design with a lot of color. I like this pack with all the color options. Definitely worth the money

I own a total of 14 TrackR devices, one of which is the spanky new Pixel. This little charmer is in a class of its own. Very dependable, extremely easy to use and above all, they work like magic.

    It's got some problems...

I eventually got my hands on three of these Trackr Pixel devices. The first one I tried connected to the iOS app well and seemed to work wonderfully. The app was able to ring the Trackr device to locate it by sound quickly, and it gives a "you're getting warmer" type indication to give you a rough idea on distance. I also really like the feature that tells you how many Trackr devices are in the area, although I wish I knew how large this area was. I then tried to connect a second Trackr Pixel to the same iOS device. The device then emitted a screeching buzz, when in small doses is fine, but when it's constant, it makes your head want to go boom. The device had failed to connect to the app and would not shut up! The constant screeching buzz couldn't be masked no matter how many blankets I threw on top of it. I figure there would be an off button of sorts, maybe hold the button down for three seconds or something, but none of it worked. I eventually put in some earplugs and a noise-canceling headphone at the same time and both failed to mask the sound of the Trackr device. It started aggravating my tinnitus which was wonderful to experience. I then attempted to take off the battery door. No way is that was coming off. I watched the video that said to use your palms... no... that doesn't work... I'm a former military man, and I'm telling you there's no way to take off that battery door with just your palms. After nearly a half hour with an aggravated head ache, scorching tinnitus, and soon-to-be-lovely-girlfriend, I threw the device at the door. Silence... oh sweet silence. And a Trackr that no longer worked. I then tried to connect my third device to the iOS app. Success! Except it removed my first device and was no longer tracking it. So I tried to reconnect my first device, couldn't do it! It kept giving two beeps when I tried. So from the app, I removed my third device to try and re-pair the first device. Same two beeps... Then I tried to re-pair the third device, two beeps! So now I figure I need to do a hard reset by taking the battery out of one of the devices. And again, I couldn't get the battery door open! I started slamming it between my heavy clothes dresser door and the furniture itself, which got the thing to open eventually, but it's all smashed up to bits now. So now I'm left with one more device, which I can't pair with anything, and I can't open the battery door. It's just a not so good key-right now that's about to find its way into a bin. Two stars for having mild success, but the experience has made me very bitter.

I bought this to try out with my stuff. I put one on my backpack and one on my purse. I also got my daughter the 3 pack with all of the neat colors! I would definitely recommend this if you haven't used a trackr before!

While a little thicker having the increased volume and being able to get bright light makes this even better. Will keep old tracker for bigger things like pets and this for things like keys.

Love this gadget! Setting it up on my phone was simple even for a non technical person like me. It has also already saved me from losing my house keys after I lost them in an open air concert.

The tracker has worked well. I tested it to make sure it worked. I also like the louder beep of the pixie trackR. I currently have the pixie attached to my car key. It is a fob style key.

    Battery life

    Batteries do not last.

I ordered 20 of these to start to give to clients, friends and family. I thought they are a Alternative to tile because you could replace the batteries. Unfortunately they do not warn you when the battery is dying. So, they either become useless or if you actually do lose your keys or whatever it is attached to the TrackR definitely won’t help you find whatever you lost. A year or so later I started looking at these devices again. Compared to the competition they are much more affordable. I emailed their customer support to inquire about the battery life. I explained how many I ordered previously and what happened. They did respond but did not offer any regret for my prior experience. They did say that the batteries last on average 3 months. I did not think to ask if there was a dying battery notification. Guess what. There isn’t or at least not one that I know of. I learned the hard way as the day after I put the pixel on my keys I lost them. When I went to the ap it said the trackr was not connected. I then looked at the ones I put in my car, laptop bag and other set of keys. None of them were connected either but one. It said the battery was almost dead. This was within days of receiving the product. So, it’s wonderful that you can click a button and they will send you a battery. The problem is that if the battery went dead and you lost your keys you do not have a device to put a new battery in. This is a great idea but a terrible product with customer service very similar to the product itself.

This product is better than the other tracking devices I have tried. The light up feature is also good, just wish I could turn off the speaker when I am looking for my keys in the dark (and my wife is sleeping) I do not want to disturb her. Other than that, great product. I bought a three pack and really like the colors too. Handy on my keys (one for each car and work keys)
