    Overall the grill is "mostly" convenient. However, from some very basic cooks I have found the temperature to be inconsistent. Not inconsistent with retaining the "temperature," inconsistent with maintaining the ACTUAL temperature. When using the built-in probe, ice water measured 40 F and boiling measured 187 F. For those that don't know/understand, ice water is ALWAYS 32 F and boiling should be close to 212 plus or minus a few degrees for elevation. Being incorrect on opposite ends of the temp range speaks to a significant error in thermocouple calibration (which is TRIVIAL) and makes me question the temp of the grill itself. I will conduct more tests and reach out to Traeger for a re-cal procedure. If I'm able to update this review I will. Is my unit a lemon? Maybe. However, for the price point of this grill, to have to undergo any of this is absolutely asnine for a company that prides themselves on QA and QC and being "American" made. American engineers are far more capable than this (speaking from experience). Do better Traeger. Maybe this is why you acquired Meater since their engineers seem to know how to calibrate a thermocouple? Oh but to get that level of performance you need a timberline? I might return just for this realization.

    Use your own probe and don't rely too much on the wifi features. Otherwise FANTASTIC product!

    So far we truly love this grill/smoker. It is very easy to work via the app and we love that it connects to the wifi. So far, we have cooked steak, sweet potatoes, pizza, and cookies on it and all has turned out well.
