The MEATER+ has worked great for me so far. The temp reading was accurate and it has decent reach via Bluetooth. The app is cool as well.

Awesome accurate probe. After the install everything else is a breeze. You can stick it on the side if your grill or fridge with the bottom magnet. Recommend!

I love this thing if I would have known they had a three pack or a bigger pack I would have bought that instead this is a must for cooking anything

My old Meater probe broke. But luckily BB had the last one in store on standby. Invaluable tool at a sweet price

If your within range it’s a 5….. if your out side of range it’s a 3 at best.

I’ve had the meater for about 13 months and rarely use it. Really only use it for larger meats such as Turkey. Used 10 times max I’d say and the tip came separated from the body. A 1 year warranty on a $100 thermometer is below par when you have companies such as Thermopro offering 3 years. When I contacted meater their fix was for me to buy a replacement probe for $59. Makes no sense for me to continue throwing away money with meater, I’ll simply search elsewhere for a better replacement.

This Meater Plus Thermometer is a very handy item it is wireless and works great it has internal temp and ambient temp.I really like it

Works as advertised as long as you follow the instructions. Works best on bigger thicker cuts of meat. App is easy to work.

By far, the best cooking thermometer overall. A little pricy but worth every cent. I've had many "corded" thermometers that don't come close to the MEATER Plus. Very accurate and the phone app is very convenient. love it, Highly recommend.

Instead of opting for a "smart" grill, I decided to go with this thermometer instead (cheaper, easier to replace and upgrade). This thing has been awesome, especially for slow rotisserie cooking (can't do that with the wired thermometers). The app has been fantastic as well!

This little device generally does a nice job, not only giving you current temp, but ambient and predictive cook time + plus solid temperature targets for a variety of foods. All super helpful. Minor issue: one must remain close - even with the extender charging unit - to keep the information flowing, but it does a decent job reconnecting once you're back in range. I see the upgraded model probably does a better job of this (of course). Full disclosure, my probe died after 8 months. Fortunately, manufacturer was kind enough to send me a replacement (one year warranty) - and didn't even need the old unit back. That was helpful. If I was in the market for a replacement (that I had to pay for) I would consider the upgraded unit or a competitor. For now, with a new lease on thermometer life, I'll stick with it.

Got it for my Dad as a Christmas gift, and he loves it! Wish the charger wasn't battery-powered, but it is nice and easy to set up and use.
