Great thermometer with no range

One for myself and the other for my father. The quality of the thermometer is great, accuracy is great, and app features are easy to use and set up. Unfortunately, the range of both thermometers is about 10 feet max. Overall incredibly disappointed in these thermometers. I was hoping I could monitor meat temps anywhere in the house, but you have to leave your phone super close to the thermometer in order to get any reading. I would not recommend these thermometers for the price.

The bluetooth range isn’t the greatest, but it’s just small issue. For the sale price I got it at. The thermometer was worth it.
