I have always preferred charcoal over anything, but it’s not this grills fault. It’s only my preference. This Traeger is outstanding in what it can do, even steaks are great in taste… they are just not as pretty looking LOL! Great grill over all!!

Recommendations for beginners: 1) keep an eye on your pellet level to avoid running out and losing heat, 2) use the drip trays on the inside for easy cleaning (smoker comes with one), 3) can be assembled with one person, but is rather heavy

Wish it wasn’t so pricey and that it had the super smoke mode but a great product! Smoked a brisket for about 10 hours and only used 1/4 of the pellets in the hopper. The WiFi capability helps me regulate temps and keep an eye on the cook while at work!
