Awesome pellet grill would recommend to anyone interested in pellet grills

Well made used it several times still learning all it can do

Fairly easy setup and comes with all tools needed, works great, highly suggest ordering front tray and display adjuster though very easy and well worth upgrades

I’ve only heard good stories about the Traeger brand and was surprised to see one available at my local Best Buy. I didn’t hesitate to purchase the product, and let me tel you, I wasn’t disappointed. It’s the best smoker I’ve ever owned. From the Smart control panel display for functionality and an easy to use helpful app that can link to your phone and make smoking any meat a breeze, to the quick and painless clean up, this smoker is topnotch. Not to mention the helpful staff at Best Buy that made my purchase a great experience.

It's a great smoker and a grill. First grill of our house and I like how I am able to control it from my phone and maintain the temprature I like for my meats and vegetables. Everybody who came to our house seems to like the look of it. My husband actually wasn't a fan of BBQ but he has been liking all kinds of grill we have done in this grill. It is on the expensive side though. Assembling was super easy as well. I wish they would sent pellet with the grill, that would have been nice.

The ability to precisely control your smoke temperature, via an app no less, is worth the cost alone. Setup was easy enough. It's a two person job, but we had it done within an hour. The WiFire app is where this grill really shines and is available for both Apple and Android. Note that to pair the app you will need the grill within range of your WiFi signal. Depending on your setup and distance from your router this could take a few tries before its successful. Also note that your grill will need to be plugged into an outlet when you use it. The cord that comes with the grill is about 6 feet in length and removable. You could potentially replace it with a longer cord if needed. With this Traeger grill, you no longer have to continually adjust your smoker and struggle to maintain the temperature. You can sit back on your couch, drink a beer, watch the game, and fire up the grill to your preferred temp right from your phone.

Treated is EXCELLENT, Easy to operate, easy to clean and maintain, assembly is really easy to follow with clear and precise instructions. I would HIGHLY recommend definitely worth it, I also love the fact that right out of the box it includes a drip tray liner, a bucket liner, and a meat thermometer. The WiFire features are also super awesome

It works great assembly was easy. And it out did my pit boss vertical smoker. Only draw back is this model does not come with a super smoke option and a pellet indicator for when it gets low

I have owned a Traeger Junior Pellet Grill. It had served me well for well over 8 years. I couldn't get parts for it to extend service life. I bought this Traeger Grill in order to do bigger items. (I.E. Turkey, Ham, etc) It works IMO better then my older Junior Grill. It has a wifi option which is great to remotely operate temperatures of the grill. The pellets are the same, and doesn't require much effort to assemble.

Oh my goodness, I bought this grill in the summer of last year (2023) for my grandson. It is truly a fantastic grill! He makes the meanest brisket following the directions from Traeger. Not only brisket we’ve had burgers, veggies even desert! Seriously, you cannot go wrong with a Traeger grill!

Verry impressed with this grill was skeptical at first cause i only had Pit Boss smokers but after my first cook i was impressed on how well it holds temp and the app is a game changer. All in All i give it a 10 sorry pit boss

The grill is awesome and easy to use. It does kind of need some accessories added to really make it feel complete - like the grill cover, the pellet sensor accessory and some lavalock tape to seal off the main door better. I think this 'grill/smoker' is really more accurately described as an outdoor convection oven. Don't get me wrong, it is really awesome for this purpose! I pretty much always try to use this instead of my indoor oven now. You won't get direct flame heat as you would in a typical grill, due to the flame shield and drip pan design. This is usually not an issue if you know what you're doing because you can always just get a good sear on a cast iron pan on the stove. Know that most smokers have this same issue by design, and I now understand why some of my neighbors have a basic cheap propane grill in their backyard next to their Traeger. As for the smoking ability, the chimney as you can see is up high. This does really reduce the smoke's time to interact with the food. The smoke will rise and then just go up and out the chimney quite quickly. On the brightside, if you want to do any standard baking without adding a smoke flavor, you can certainly do that with this unit. You can definitely still get good smoke flavor too, but you'll either have to go lower and slower than other smokers, or add a smoke tube to the grill. You'll notice that the IronWood model does not have this smoke chimney. Instead, that unit vents the smoke out of the bottom, rear of the grill. This allows the smoke to build up inside of the grill and spend more time interacting with the food before it finds its way out the bottom vent. Between that and the IronWood having 'supersmoke' mode I do wish I spent the extra money for the Iron Wood model just for some extra smoking oomph. I think this unit would have a lot more smoke power with a lower vent. I wonder I could just make the vent on this thing lower by just turning that chimney upside down lol. I may try that one day - seems like the Raiden hat over the chimney would serve as a catcher for any solid that may try to come out if it was upside down. All this is not to say I haven't smoked some really awesome meals on this thing! It is so easy to use, the app and included meat probe are excellent and I haven't screwed up a single meal I've made on this thing. If I had to choose to have only one cooking appliance in my backyard, I would definitely choose a Traeger over a standard propane grill or flattop.

Only issue is I cannot get it to connect to my WiFi and my WiFi is a 2.4g but that is not Best Buy’s problem the grill is massive cooked steaks on it and they were amazing!

They recommend two people to assemble and while it would be easier with two, I was able to do it myself in under 2 hours with ease. This is my first pellet grill and so far so good! My meat has had a great smoky flavor and the WiFire is a nice tool. The only thing I would warn against is mine sits directly in the sun and it has thrown the temp off a bit so I had to adjust accordingly. Otherwise I’m very happy!

Easy to setup and use. Wish I had bought one sooner.
