Overall, just another Michael Bay Transformers movie that emphasizes style over substance. The plot is wafer thin, and the dialogue canned and seemingly recycled, but in the end the movie ends up being kid-fodder for an afternoon wind-down. Some mature themes crop up for the teen-crowd, which may turn away some parents. If you're looking for an oscar-winning movie, this isn't it. If you're looking for explosions and lots of action, here's your fllick.

This new Transformers movie introduces some new human characters. Probably a welcome changed. Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz adds some great screen presence and fresh faces. The Earth was saved from the last attack of the Decepticons. Some humans want nothing to do with any Transformer, so they ally themselves with a bounty hunter from outer space. The Autobots and this small group of people work together against this new menace. Great action movie!

The is easily the best Transformers Movie since the first. The movie has great kinetic action scenes and awesome framing. The only problem is the same as the other films in the franchise, the fact that the titular characters are regulated to side kicks to the primary human protagonists. Luckily, we get to see more of the Cybertronians and their war in this movie, and all the action is much better frame and constructed than it was in earlier movies.

This movie is great to watch regardless of whether you've seen the first three movies or not. If you have and thought they were getting a little stale then this one will get you excited again. mark wahlberg does the human race proud in this one. If you're a beginner, there will be s few references to the past movies youll not get but it doesn't take away from the quality of the movie in any way shape or form. its a good movie to start with even being the fourth in the series.

This latest Transformer's brings in some new enemies and some old favorite the dinobots. The new enemy is quite effective at tracking autobot's so he seems to always be on the scene but good ole Optimus Prime is one step ahead. The introduction of one of my favorite enemies Galvatron was a nice touch also. They keep expanding the transformer world and uping the ante of what will happen. Can't wait to see what is coming down the pike. Great movie with great action a must buy.

This is not Casablanca or Gone with the Wind, but it is a fun movie with great CGI animations. To me, a big improvement over the earlier Shia LaBeouf installments in the franchise. Note that the Blu-ray's main audio is Dolby Atmos format and may cause a problem on some players and Home Theater systems but it also contains a DVD-style audio track that can be selected manually or from the disc menu if you have problems with the Atmos TrueHD track.

Listen, its Transformers. We all know what to expect. If you enjoyed the other 3 then chances are you'll enjoy this one. The motor mouthed Shia Labouf is gone and that's a good thing, he was getting very grating. As far as the bluray goes, well technically its perfect. Picture is gorgeous. The sound is ridiculous, immensely loud, insane bass but still perfectly clear. Amazing soundtrack. Overall if you enjoy transformers then don't hesitate.

As a kid, I always enjoyed the transformers cartoons (born 1981), now that I am a grown man, its nice to see all those childhood memories come to live with all the special effects. The quality of the Blue-Ray is amazing and at the same time of purchasing the movie, i purchased a sound bar for my TV and let me tell you.. I may be a grown man, with grown man money and responsibilities,, but i enjoyed that movie as much as I enjoyed my cartoons when i was 7 years old!!!!

Fantastic movie, and great price for Dvd, blu ray and digital copy $19.99. They were out of stock on the 3D. We were a little disappointed because it was the first day of release. The cashier was nice enough to check in the back. He was the only person who acknowledged us throughout the store. We,originally came in to buy a TV but there wasn't anybody to help us. I would recommend the movie but not the store. There were allot of people in blue shirts standing around.

This latest installment to the Transformers series is pretty entertaining. These movies are guilty pleasures and nothing more. It is easy to take shots at director Michael Bay, but he gets the last laugh, cause he is making millions off this. The effects are just as good, the battle scenes between the transformers is quite impressive. Stanley Tucci is pretty funny as an over the top billionaire. This movie is entertaining, nothing more.

This movie is exactly what you would expect from Michael Bay, a large budget, and a great franchise. Lots of action, beautiful explosions, and tons of top-notch special effects. This is probably the darkest of all 4 Transformer movies, and is therefore a little more "grown up" than the previous 3, but my entire family still enjoyed it thoroughly, including my 10 and 8 year old. Anyone who is a Transformer fan owes it to themselves to see and/or own this movie.

I have to admit, I kind of missed Shia Labeouf, no matter how corny and annoying (yet funny, at times) he could be. This latest Transformers movie has an all new cast. The visuals and audio are superb on this Blu-ray, however, especially if you have a dedicated Dolby 7.1 surround system. It is also the first Blu-ray release to have Dolby Atmos, if you're the ground-breaking technology type. Great movie to demo your equipment.

Okay, so its the 4th transformers of the series. Is it the best movie out of all of them? No, probably not. Is it classic Michael Bay big explosions lots of guns, epic robot battles and visually and aurally stimulating for 3 hours? YEP! fantastic 3D quality, excellent audio and video conversion. If you aren't expecting oscar winning levels of acting, plot, and story, but like big booms, sweeeet sound effects and epic battles then this is fantastic.

I know that others are out there that like these movies! just look at the continued success each film has had at the box office. It just seems I always hear more about how awful the Transformer movies are. I go in expecting action as only Michael Bay can do and I have fun with it. I was concerned at first on how starting with a new cast of characters would feel for this film in the franchise, but it worked for me and I anxiously await the next chapter!

I am not a critic and I enjoy just about any form of "celluloid" entertainment. I should mention that if I doze off during a movie then it is definitely one that rates poorly. I stayed awake for the entire movie, good action, missed the old characters but the new ones kept it interesting. I rooted for the good guys being hunted by the government...darn FEDS. I personally get excited watching those metallic heroes transform!!

Its been a long time sens we last saw the dino bots and transforms in a show or a movie. I have loved the first 3 and was highly anticipating the 4th film. I was not let down by it in anyway. It was almost none stop action, as with the first 3 you get all the usual bots in the 4th and some new ones to boot. Get ALLOT of popcorn and soda bed down on your couch its around 3 hours long. Enjoy! If you have a home theater, turn it up and rip the nob off!!

Enjoy This Movie Series an all that it has to offer in the action as well the plots for which it thrives to take the bad in us & steer it to do something good....Not sure that it al is exactly the way to handle things in our real life, but for a movie it a good script!........I don't Like the way they have not keep the orginal Characters in tacted as well because I feltthe orginal cast work good together on screen......

We all know these movies are based on a cartoon!…so lets not get twisted on the a deep plot act.You watch transformers movies for the action and special effects! And we all now Micheal Bay loves to blow stuff up!…so this a fun thrill ride! and Mark walberg is always a great addition! after the reviews i thought I'd be let down!…but I was pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed this new edition in the Transformer saga!

i heard a lot of negative things about this movie and boy!Oh boy! was they ever wrong about this movie. For starters they revamp what was old and already definitely worn out from past movies in the series and i give mark wahlberg a good shot at it as well and john goodman was a nice touch as well some old favorites return as well. overall if you like robots and mayhem than you owe it to yourself to to pick this one up.
