As someone who has previously purchased Kaspersky, I find Trend Micro as effective and consistent with its offered security especially how worth mentioning its hardened browser for online banking (which I do often). Could say it still has some to improve but overall it definitely does the job.

Trend Micro is a Fantastic Product when it comes to Advanced on line security with its 100% web threat protection and very secure with you online banking and shopping etc. It offers multi protection for up to 3 devices. You also can't forget free product support just contact the Geek Squad. I have purchased Trend Micro in the past with other products in the past. I recommend when you buy it you need to apply it to your devices asap. I purchased a Tablet and was given the 6 month version in a bundle purchase in July 2020 it was an early Christmas purchase because of the great price and unfortunately it expired in January. I thought it would not start protecting till activated. Wrong!!

My son is using this on his new laptop, and so far, it's working great. I know he's protected when surfing the web and it will protect the laptop in case he accidently gets exposed to malware or a virus.

Trend Micro has been around for quite some time and they are competent and offer a decent product. My problem, as always, is subscription based software and the fact this is only 6 months. This is basically an extended "try before you buy" period and in terms of integrated suites the AV market is crowded right now with many products performing at the same if not slightly higher levels as Trend Micro. Still, it is a free 6 month comprehensive coverage package and as long as they don't require any time of payment on file during those 6 months, hey, why not?
