Awesome nostalgia game a bit of stutter and loose camera angles but those are my only negatives. Combat and story are great.

I played this game as a teen by applying a fan translation patch to the japanese version. I always hoped they would bring this west. Very unique experience and one that is not too hardcore but manages to stay engaging. Would also recommend picking up the Collection of Mana for Switch to play the original version of this game as well! They are both stellar!

Trials of Mana is an engaging remake of a classic game. The original was released on the SNES and only recently was officially re-released in English in the Collection of Mana game. The game offers great visuals, multiple story paths from multiple protagonists offering a lot of replayability. I highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a good RPG game.

Finally we get a remake of this Series done right. I could not put this game down once I started it. I played the original as well but the 3D graphics are done wonderfully to bring this franchise into the modern day. I also REALLY enjoyed the added content in the post game.

Game looks beautiful and story is the same classic from snes days.

The gameplay and story are great. Most of the fights are east to complete except for some bosses.

While this game is a ton of fun if you want a nostalgic feeling for how role-playing games were made in the 1990's, it is otherwise a simple action games with a classic good vs. evil plotline very, very faithful to the original. Knowing that most non-player character's don't say much when you speak to them before playing the game definitely improved my experience. It's mostly short sentences about their immediate surroundings and nothing else. They're very old-school in desing.

Funny voice acting dialogue. Fun game. Recommend to buy.

What a great game. If you’ve been waiting to play SD3 since you were a kid and found the English Romhack on Zophar’s Domain, this is the game for you. All of the normal SE goofiness is here with hilarious voice acting and overdrawn emotions. Fun play through and looks great on the switch.

it’s a decent action rpg. Some may like the story but after about 6 hours I couldn’t really stand it anymore and started skipping the cutscenes. Voice acting is also pretty typical anime stuff (both English and Japanese). The only thing keeping me going so far is the gameplay which I’d say is pretty above average for an action rpg but not quite as good as nier automata.

Nice art style and fun combat make for an entertaining rpg with decent replay value to boot.

The game plays very well as an action rpg, and the score is beautiful to listen to. However, the director behind the voice acting for this game must of been asleep on the wheel, since the voice work has ended up being the most regrettable thing to experience within in the game. Still worth a play though.

While this is not a new game, it is for the American audience unless you downloaded it on an emulator. It is a shame it has taken us so long to get this game on a console but finally it has arrived. Another wonderful entry in the Secret of Mana series this is a must play game for any RPG fan.

This game stays true to the original, remastered the OST, improves many things including additional scenes and voice acting, adds an additional storyline, and adds a lot in combat mechanics and AI that wasn't possible before. A very easy to pick up game with charming graphics and compelling gameplay.

Good game for a remake. I really like action rpg games so this is right up my alley

Trials of Mana is a very engaging game with beautiful graphics. The game allows you to choose your lead and side character (from among 6 characters) and your story will vary depending on who you choose. This allows you to enjoy the game more than once without playing the same scenario.

Fun game, and a great remake of the third game in the Mana series. We didn’t get the original game stateside, but we got it finally in Collection of Mana, and this 3D remake. This is a good time for Mana fans.

So I have never played any of the mana games, but I am a big fan of all of the FF games and rpgs altogether so i decided to give trials of mana a shot. I have been enjoying the game so far, takes me back to the older FF games. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves classic RPGs.

Really solid remake of the classic Super Famicom (SNES) release. If you like old-school JRPGs, I recommend this one. Beat it in about 20 hours (without doing the post-game content), but multiple playthroughs are encouraged due to the unique character stories and the different endings.
