Well how do you show your team pridePosted
It took one day longer but not a problem. Can understand there are not many Jayhawks in California. I know quite a few and and this will make them say "I want one". My mother was married to a man the college called The Ol' Jayhawk. There was never a more ardent fan. He knew every coach of every sport personally. He was given a parade and the highest award Kansas University can grant the Millie award. He had a Jayhawk plate on his car and was first in line when Kansas finally allowed 7 letters on the plate so he could have the whole name spelled out. He brought donuts the Wilt Chamberlain, Dave Robish, and so many names I can't remember. He ran the films for the teams when they watched them, he had season tickets to all sporting events. He spent years driving many many miles to watch his Jayhawks. The last time the Jayhawks one the NCAA a couple years back. My mother drove himto watch the team load on the bus. He always tried to see the team off to every game but his health was failing and my mother parked the car so he could watch the team load. The coach was on the bus but got off walked to car and shook my fathers hand told him he was comming back with a win. They did, the same year the football team had gone to the Orange Bowl and won, (old Kansas fans know how important a win at the Orange Bowl is). It reminds me of value of giving just for the passion of it. That many things in life are free and passion is one. We now have a new freshman Jayhawk starting in the fall so I am a proud Jayhawk fan. Oh yeah and it has a great pocket and held up well to a three year old. Great zippers and Great pocket on the back.
I would recommend this to a friend
