A very fun and relaxing old school Japanese Action RPG that is very much like the Secret of Mana games and some light Zelda feeling exploration. Great soundtrack, charming graphics from the same people who did Alliance Alive, and the character portrait art is from the Gran Blue artists I believe. It all looks great. The English voice acting is somehow not bad either, which was a total shock and completely unexpected. If you’re looking for a relaxing, fairly simple action RPG that you can just fire up and play with no fuss, you could do much, much worse than this game. Definitely recommended to fans of the genre. The deluxe edition extras are extremely well made and the art book is great. Comes with with a FULL 2 disc soundtrack, not just a mini one.

Some of the creators behind the Secret of Mana game made Trinity Trigger. This has the charm and gameplay stylings of the Squaresoft classic, while implementing a few changes and updates. Fun RPG with co-op gameplay! You just have to play a small ways into the storyline before unlocking couch multiplayer. Great game.

Trinity Trigger is an old school action/adventure RPG from the SNES era. This game takes a lot of old school mechanics and adapts with the today's era of gaming with graphics and better controls. The story is overall good, but this game be a little short than most stories. Overall, it's a fun game to play.

First off, I have to say the day one game box is solid and we'll put together. I really enjoyed how everything was neatly packed and felt like good quality. Second, the actual game. When I booted it up for the first time I was impressed how crisp the visuals looked and how seamless the controls felt, but as I progressed in the story I realized how basic, generic and average the story was. The fact that you could local co-op with such ease is definitely a highlight for this game (it doesn't become available though until you meet all three main characters). The battle system and level grind is not that bad compared to traditional JRPGs. It's a pretty neat approach and makes this game easy to put down or zone out for hours if you want to avoid story. Lastly, the game is really short 15-20 hrs of gameplay. I couldn't believe it when I finished the game around 18 hrs and was like, "this can't be the end, right?" But alas it was...In my opinion this game is not worth the $60 price tag even with all the added goodies. I feel like they added the extras to buffer for the short game and make up for the price...what for a sale on this one, you're not missing anything amazing story wise.

Great JRPG with old school roots and new school flare. The graphics are reminiscent of Chrono Trigger with some minor updates. While I haven’t made it far into the story I can’t wait to unravel more of this game.

Mana games making a comeback. A "Mana-like"? Not too bad of a name. It. Brought back that local coop feel, with the Mana style. This is a great way to relive that feeling on a modern platform

Giving it 5 stars since its a great game. Like anything else there are some issues but nothing terrible. Some of the difficulty spikes weren't fun. I enjoyed the story and gameplay overall. The music was good as well.

An old fashion action RPG that starts out great, but gets old by the 15 hour mark. If the game was a bit shorter it would be great.
