Ok, i'll admit i was drawn into this series when it 1st came out. It was fresh and full of new ideas not seen on TV before and every week had me coming back for more. As the series went on it some how lost the direction that made the series so great.. to the point if became almost embarrassing to tell anyone you still watch the show. This is the 7th and final season of True Blood. I have to say as a Fan. would be the only reason i purchased this set. Just so i could complete my collection. The content of the show was so well like I said, they lost their direction and this show series should have ended around the 4th season. With that being said the quality of the BluRay is not in question. HBO series is well known for the High Quality of product and this release is no exception. It's the actual story being told per episode you may have yourself wondering why even bother. Anyway ... This is great for the FANS of the series.

The final season of True Blood gives closure to fans of the show. Is it a perfect season? By no means. There are many unnecessary additional story lines that are included to pad the run time. There are a couple episodes that involve characters solely discussing the previous episode to others who were not present, which means that nothing new happens for a while. And some story arcs are resolved in unbelievable ways, which should not happen in a show filled with the unbelievable (i.e. faeries, vampires, and werewolves); however, this is True Blood, and as fans we should know to take the good with the bad just like the characters have for 7 seasons. So if you have gone through the other seasons, you will give these minor flaws a pass because, as I said before, you are given closure. A definite recommendation for everyone who wants to see Bon Temps for one last time.

Overall, I thought the last season was good. There are some parts that just make you roll your eyes. For example, Sookie storms off and throws her cell phone- really when there are Hep-V vamps running around? Other parts just felt contrived- Sookie just happens to find a diary that parallels her love story with Bill. The flash forward, at the end, was a bit too sweet for me- everything was tied up a little too nicely. However, despite my grumblings, there were parts of the final season, which I found truely satisfying. My other complaint has nothing to do with TB writers. I think HBO should have given TB 12 final episodes, instead of only 10. I will miss this show.

Certainly been an avid fan since the first season. It's weird to know that this series is over. It had a great run as all good things do come to an end. There were a few surprises as a few of the ccentral characters made their demise. There wasnt any jumping the shark episodes as i understand the intention was to make the storyline cohesive. This series was a delight. Thankfully i have the complete set whenever i feel like i need to rerun or reference at my discretion. I understand that there will be a true blood complete series for retail just in time for the holidays. Hope that this will be a nice addition to your collection as it is with mine.

Will Sookie end up with Eric or Bill or Alcide? Will Jason end up with Violet or Jessica? Will Sarah Newlin get her just desserts or be dessert or end up in a desert? Will Hoyt and Jason ever be best buds again? Will Sheriff Andy and Holly get married? Will Lafayette finally get a new boyfriend in James that doesn't get killed off? Will Sam Merlotte finally stop running and find some peace in his life? Will Arlene finally move past Terry's death? Will Letti Mae finally stop acting like a fool even when sober? Can all these questions be answered in one final season then please stay tuned.

I binge watched 6 seasons online then found that the service was going to charge me for the final season! So off to Best Buy! Finished it up within a couple days! Yes...it was not the satisfying ending that most would want. It was just hard to imagine how it could have ended. A Twilight ending would not have worked, would it? It left me thinking and wondering and playing out all the possible scenarios. That is good tv. I am glad I bought it.

When True Blood premiered on HBO, it became a must see series for so many people. The thought that vampires, werewolves, fairies, shape shifters and anything else supernatural really lured audiences into watching every Sunday night. Sookie Stackhouse and Vampire Bill became a love story all on its own. Anyway, I purchased the final season of True Blood to complete my series collection. Also I bought it at a great price.

Big fan of the True Blood series. Watched every episode and own every season. Sad to see it come to an end but grateful that is was known before season seven that this would be the finish to this story. Writers did a very good job to bring it to a suitable conclusion. Loved the cast and the excitement but folks this is definitely not for the little ones so wait for the kids to go to bed before enjoying this with your sweetheart.

Season 7, the latest and final season of True Blood is a must have...it's wraps up everything nicely and has some great character development. The only aspect I didn't like, the same as a the previous season, is that it didn't come in a blu-ray and dvd combo it'd either one or the other. It's a great series for any vampire fan. I highly recommend the final season and all previous seasons for those who don't know about True Blood

Could the ending have been better? Sure. Was it horrible? No. They had to close it, and I'm glad that they did it when they did. If you have seen the other seasons, you had to see this one....if only to bring closure. The very ending, with the two particular characters....classic. I was absolutely rolling. I would give more details, but I don't want to spoiler. And if you have seen it, you know what I mean.

I was never a huge fan of "True Blood" after the first two seasons, but kept coming back to see if things would improve. They didn't, for me at least. Still, the production values remained strong even after Alan Ball left, and performances were pretty solid all the way through. Very weak tea compared to "Six Feet Under," but worthwhile for die hard vampire addicts.

I love this series and really started to connect with some of the characters this season. I know people get sick of vampires and the supernatural, but for me I liked how you connected with the characters before they became/vampires-other beings. I liked the fantasy of it all. The love story/love triangle got old at times, but tolerable. Sad to see it end. What is next HBO?

I have True Blood seasons 1 - 3, 5 & now 7. I love the seasons so far. I picked up season 7 because it was on sale. I also wanted to keep my collection going. I will keep a look out for seasons 4 & 6. I got hooked on this series on HBO. Had to start buying them. It was a great series. Would recommend to older family members.

The only thing that I can think of, is everybody was working for free and that the Writer, Producer and Director were absent for the Last Season and that the Actors just Improvised the entire season I mean really I thought the Low Budget out of work Actors/Actresses with Clicking Fangs in the 1st Season Sucked well the Season Finale Took The Cake or should I say Fall.

This series has had some odd moments, but once I started, I couldn't stop. This last season was a nice wrap up to the show, and if you were hooked by season one, stuck it out through some of the off-the-wall stuff, you will need to see this last season to get satisfactory closure. Best buy always has a great price, so I would recommend buying from them!

I bought this season to complete my collection. I'm a fan of the series (the reason for the 5 stars) but I'll admit the last few seasons were nowhere near as good as the first few. Season 7 wasn't too bad. It was an improvement over the previous two seasons. It was a slightly disappointing but adequate series end. READ the books! They're well worth it.

I'm a fan of True Blood, but season seven is a let down. I'm glad Sookie has a happy ending, but the season as a whole does not offer enough to the viewer to keep them interested. I don't want to say too much because I know how some feel about spoilers. Just stop at season six and know that Sookie gets a chance at a normal life. The end.

I have watched each season of True Blood and found it to be very enjoyable. Sookie Stackhouse and the gang are always fun to watch; fantasy world of fairies and vampires along with werewolves are a very intresting mix but fun to watch. Sad to know that this show will no longer be available but I have past seasons to watch and enjoy again.

I know we're supposed to talk about Best Buy, but the product itself is also good! It's the final installment of the True Blood series. I have bought all of the seasons here at Best Buy, and I have never had any problems with any of the discs. There have never been any scratches on the discs, and Best Buy always has competitive pricing!

I purchased the 7th season and final season just to complete my True Blood. This was a very disappointing final series ending DVD. Maybe it's the final episode was disappointing. I did enjoy True Blood seasons 90% of the 7th season of true blood. I still would recommend it and the complete series seasons 1 - 7.
