First, a bit of background. I spend a lot of hours in my task chair. Between the usual internet things, gaming, working from home (usually one day per week) and performing out-of-hours support, probably eight to ten ours a day. Several years ago, I bought a super-duper $350 task chair. It started breaking down fairly quickly and completely failed very shortly after the warrant expired. That was replaced with a $70 Walmart special, which was fine until the cushioning in the seat broke down after a few years. So I went into this purchase looking for the "sweet spot" between those extremes. I took the additional "risk" of ordering this chair online, since my local Best Buy didn't have them in stock. I don't really like buying chairs I haven't at least sat in for a few minutes. Ordering process was easy. I ordered for in-store pickup (easier than waiting around at home for a delivery to show up). There was one delay, but had the item in reasonable time. Assembly was very straightforward. I had no problems putting it together by myself (often a bit of a challenge with task chairs). I've been using the chair for about a month now and so far I'm very pleased. It's quite comfortable. It's a bit smaller than the last chairs I've had, which is a plus for me. Space is at a bit of a premium in my apartment. The only thing I'm missing is adjustable tilt. This chair either locks full upright or tilts freely. It would be nice to be able to set a tilt angle somewhere in between those two options. That's hardly a deal breaker for me, though.

I have always tended to go cheap when it comes to my computer furniture, but I’ve been working from home more and more over the years, so when it came time to replace my computer chair, I decided to get something really nice. I stumbled across this chair when I was in Best Buy for something else altogether, and I immediately thought it looked like the perfect chair for me. Not too big, but very cushy, hydraulic lift for seat height. I read the reviews before going back to get it, and now that I have it in my office, I have to say I agree that it’s a great chair. It’s sturdy and extremely comfortable. I found assembly to be very easy. The chair is a little heavier than I expected, so it was a chore to haul it upstairs to my office, but I don’t anticipate having to do that again in the future. My previous chair did not have armrests, and I find that I really like the armrests on this chair for when I’m sitting back and contemplating or reading something on the computer screen. I’m still deciding whether they’re ergonomic for typing on the keyboard. They’re easily removable, whatever I decide. When I thought I would get a really nice chair, I assumed I would have to pay a lot more for the right one. I think this price was extremely reasonable. I’m very happy with this chair.

Purchased two of these for home and after a while I found that I actually like these chairs even better than a Sealy Posturepedic "memory foam" chair I bought for work for at least the same price or more. The price of the True Seating chair does seem hard to chew at first but when it ends up being more comfortable than more expensive chairs it is well worth it. Hopefully it lasts quite a while and that will definitely make the price worth it. The Sealy has more adjustment options but the comfort of the True Seating chair blows it away. I am very happy with the comfort of this chair. It also seems to have a pretty well made base plate, utilizing metal bushings. Some other office chairs I've used in the past use plastic bushings, which eventually fail causing the chair to usually tilt to one side. Assembly was pretty easy until attaching the back to the bottom. I still was able to do it myself but a helping hand might be needed for some people. I highly recommend this chair!

    Best Desk Chair

This is the most comfortable task chair that I've ever used/owned. The contour or the seat and back provide support similar to a contoured bucket seat in a car, however, this 'bucket seat' has arms. I had a slight problem with mine: the cushion in one of the arms was 'crushed' because of the way in was packaged. I called the company and they are sending two replacement arms to compensate for the one damaged arm cushion. Excellent customer support. I could have returned the chair to BB, but I liked it so much that I wanted to see if the problem could be rectified by the company--and it was. All round, this is an excellent chair for comfort, contour, and all its features. If you're thinking of buying one, do it! You will quite like it. I would buy another if I needed a second chair. By the way, I spend at least six hours a day in the chair and have felt no discomfort after hours of sitting at the computer.

I have a home office and can spend long hours at my desk. I've had this chair for a month and have yet to feel any fatique or discomfort.. It is very comfortable and supportive. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs - it only took a minute to find the right adjustments and this chair is very comfortable - whether sitting upright or reclining. I'm very handy and assembled the chair in less than 30 minutes. Someone not that handy might need an assist to assemle it - not a big deal - the instructions are very easy to follow. Overall this chair is a great value and looks very nice in my office environment - which also serves as my den.

I just took this chair home earlier with my wife. We sat in a chair at Best Buy that cost double the price and didn't sit or look nearly as good. The quality of this chair is top notch. Solid hardware, hefty base and thick cushions make for a fairly heavy chair. After I put it together (less than 15min) I carried it upstairs and was pretty amazed at its weight. When my wife sat in it she swore I'd never get any work done b/c it's TOO COMFY, but I assured it the opposite. I just started working on my Masters of Divinity and will be spending the next 3yrs or so banging out 90credit hours, and God knows how many hours in this chair studying, writing, etc. I'm hype!

I bought this chair to use in my office at home. On average I sit in the chair about 3 hours a day when I'm studying for school or using my computer. So far I haven't had any problems. It's comfortable and moves very well. I did not attach the armrests because I prefer not having them on, so I can't say if they are comfortable or not. The only downside to the chair was the assembly. I love putting stuff together and could follow the instructions easily but it took two people to assemble this thing. I would hold the two pieces in place while my fiance would screw the bolts in. Maybe it was just my particular chair, but there was no way just one person could have put it together.

There were two chairs at the store when I got this one. I was a little hesitant to get this chair, it seemed too low of a price for what it looked like and I thought it might be a flimsy leather. When I got home and took it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The only problem that I had with assembly was not marring the armrest leather when installing the back piece. It was a little tricky to get it aligned and keep it off the floor. The leather was slightly scratched and torn in a couple of small spots, but they were well hidden and it was really no big deal. Overall, this chair is the best that I have seen at Best Buy. Walmart's chairs don't come close to this one for the value or the comfort, in my personal opinion.

The chair looked nice in the store. However once I assembled the one I purchased at home I found that it had some issues. The right side arm rest fits so tightly against the seat that it makes this awful farting sound every time you sit down. It's very embarrassing. The right side arm rest also appears to have a defect where the leather meets the plastic. It just looks bad. The back pad has a lot of wrinkles near where the seam meats upcoming along the front side. When you look at the chair completely assembled it looks lopsided because the padding is bigger on one side then it is on the other. I am rather disappointed with the purchase.

I bought this chair to replace an Init chair that I owned previously that just wasn't holding up well (creaked a lot and the casters kept falling out). Assembly was very straightforward and I had it done in less than 20 minutes. After just 5 minutes I could tell this was the chair for me. It's extremely comfortable and lends itself well to long stints in front of the computer. I've been using it for little over a week and I am very happy with it. I plan on adding a floor mat very soon, but in the meantime the casters are passable on my short carpet.

After researching chairs for value and look, I came across this chair and noticed all the great reviews as an added bonus. I bought it (on sale) and wondered if it would be comfortable for someone over 200 pounds. Yes, the padding is thick enough all over and the functionality of this chair is still going strong 2 months later. I am very pleased with my purchase and hope all who read this will consider this chair as their next one.

This chair was really easy to put together..was easier for two people when putting top and bottom pieces together..could be done by one person I guess but just faster and easier for two..very comfortable..we only ever had a metal folding chair by the computer so this is like heaven..very nice and well worth the money..my husband and I are in our 50's and decided to treat ourselves to a better chair for Christmas and we're so glad we went ahead and spent the money. it's something we both can enjoy.

The seat is very uncomfortable! I can't stand setting in this chair for more than an hour (two at the very max)! I have had my chair for 3 months. Today my left arm rest broke off. The plastic assembly that connects to the bottom of the chair completely broke lose. There should be a type of re-enforcement in the chair to hold the arm rests in place; but there is NOT! I would NOT recommend this chair. It was an expensive piece of JUNK! Now I'm going to have to PAY to dispose of it!

I bought this chair because it was on sale and all of the great reviews! I haven't had very many chairs to compare it to, but it is soooooo comfy. It only took me about 20 minutes to assemble and it looks great. It looks like a more expensive chair in my opinion. Overall I would definitely buy another one and I will for sure recommend to all my friends and family!! You won't be disappointed!

I purchased this chair online and was worried that it would be cheap and uncomfortable, however after reading the reviews I took the chance. This chair is not a high end office chair, but it is a good quality chair that is comfortable to sit in and looking at the construction will hold up for a while with medium to heavy use. The assembly is quick and east with simple instructions.

I don't usually waste even the time it takes to navigate setting up customer id's for a site like this. In this case, I did so just to recommend this chair. I should have bought this a few months ago. If you just want something that is easy to assemble, comfortable and just plain works -without needing to impress anybody- you found the chair. I am a consultant who has clients around US and other countries and this is a great buy.

This chair is very comfortable and has a high enough back rest to where i can lean in it with no problem. I had 0 problems setting up the chair and I barely had to use the manual...only to figure out which screw to put where. It comes with this "L" shaped tool to tighten up the screws so that is another plus about this chair. Excellent chair and it would be better if it had some sort of massage stuff in it.

I got the chair the other day. The back of it had a hole in it. About 1 inch across. I called the manufacture and they sent me a new back. Great deal! Didn't expect that. This chair is so completely comfortable. It's not really big. That's what we wanted. We wanted something medium to small sized and soft. It was perfect. Great customer service at True Seating Concepts.

I work out of my home and I bought this chair to replace an old high back chair that I've had for 6 years, I was skeptical about not getting another high back because of the support it gives me but this chair seems to deliver. It's a good looking chair with quality construction and it was very easy to assemble. I've had it now for 3 months and I'm glad that I bought it!

I shopped other places for a good chair and found others not so nice for well over this price. Overall its a great value for $ 139.99 and i would STRONGLY recommend this chair to anyone.
