A company that makes $40-$120 per return and sells THIRTY SIX MILLION units - makes so much money that it can lobby congress to keep taxes an excruciating experience for everyone. I tried to save 10 bucks on Amazon and got screwed buying a 2020 version of the program (In the small small print - with NO RETURNS)

I tried but it was not for me

I could tell that all of this would be better off with an actual tax pro in person. The cost was a lot higher in person, but it was due to my particular situation. Turbo Tax is a lot better for those with simpler returns vs having 10 or more documents.

Pretty good...but

Only one potentially problematic issue is if their is a software glitch that causes an error in your tax statements, you are responsible for fees and fines UNLESS you pay for the additional Turbotax coverage.
