Buy this every year. Works very well and it transfers all the information from the previous year.

1-20-2024. I've used Turbotax for years, maybe close to 20. This year without any reasonable notice on packaging or descriptions, Turbotax does not tell one that you have to log into an account in order to even activate the software. I created one years ago, never use it for privacy reasons. There is no reasonable (IMO) manner to recover one's password or account without sending an image of a Drivers license, Passport, other formal document. Intuit does not state how this is used, stored, deleted. They list a manner to receive a 6 digit temporary access but it loops back to a password requirement. Even Intuit's phone support notes one should be able to access an account with the 6 digit code stating (as does the web page) on selects the "skip" option for PWD reset. In any case, I've moved to H&R Block which I've used to audit my Turbo Tax results (several previous years) and suspect it'll be fine having downloaded and had no issues with doing so. It's unfortunate as I really liked Turbotax, but their parent company Intuit added new requirements so that I can not use it without either providing provide data (and no assurance on how they safeguard or delete it) and/or create a new account which for me, I don't care to create new emails just to "work around" a hurdle they created (IMHO)

Worst purchasing experience in memory, and I've 74 years worth of them. I read and understood the disclaimer on digital products (no refunds if opened). Purchased this version of turbotax because you had best price. But tried to open using your instructions and it didn't for me, it didn't for your tech people on your help line, nor did it for the tech people at Intuit (who ultimately comp'd me a copy). But even armed with this info, your agent refused to consider a refund and refused to provide names and addresses up your chain to write directly to. Wont ever buy from your folks again.

Though i was getting free state return. I was wrong . . . $20

The new version, this one, is considerably harder to use than the previous years versions. I very well may be switching next year.

Charges for a return even if it can’t go through….

The code was NOT on the receipt and now I have to go into the store to sort this out. Bad on Intuit and Best Buy. Considering going to another platform from now on.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and order it directly from the company. Save yourself the aggravation of having to wait for BestBuy to process your order, then wait again to receive their email with info on how to redeem your product and then wait again for the actual product....frustrating, and a complete waste of time. Never again.

I usually use online Turbo Tax, but this year I need to file a family members return in addition to my own. This CAN NOT be used if your computer is in S-mode. You have to leave S-mode forever to access download.

how can there be a review when no one bought this product!
