I love how comfortable this headset is, and I also am a fan of the open back design so I can actually hear myself normally when I speak. The sidetone / mic monitoring on so many headsets, including turtle beach’s other offerings, sound too quiet, robotic, or have an unbearable delay. This is NEARLY a perfect headset for both my ps5 and PC, but there’s one glaring issue: The wireless receiver has a range of maybe 6 feet and that’s pushing it. Turtle Beach claims a range of 60ft, but if I wander at all from the console or turn my head the wrong direction then frequently I can hear the reconnecting beep. And my friends also alert me that I’m cutting out while talking. Despite this huge flaw, I’ve found work arounds with wiring it to my controller, or just sit close enough to the receiver that it’s not an issue - simply because I love everything else about this headset. No other headset I’ve tried is near as comfortable and light, and the fabric mesh is super breathable. The Swarm 2 app gets a fair bit of complaints online and other reviews, but I genuinely don’t understand why. Maybe they’re tech illiterate or maybe they’re expecting more from it? Its EQ mixer works fine, and the output and input have multiple presets. It’s not a crazy amount of options, but it’s more than I would have asked for. If you’re having trouble with an update loop, you need to just turn off the headset and force close the app AFTER it completes the update, then turn it back on, reopen the app, and reconnect. It’s not hard to troubleshoot, but I think a lot of complaints come from people not possessing the common sense.

I have Nova Pros and Audeze Maxwells and this beats them hands down for me. The open back soundstage is big for me I like it wider. I also like being able to hear if my dog is barking etc. It is really immersive if you are in an overall quiet room. Does not have simultaneous connections but that does not matter to me. It has a button that allows you to switch from wired (computer) to bluetooth on the fly and that works. Sound is fantastic. Super comfortable and light. Sacrifice the simultaneous connections and some planar sound advantages to have a higher quality of life. Just feels better and right. Better price as well.

I've been using the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro since release but this Turtle Beach is my new main and it's also my first Turtle Beach product. It's super comfy with the floating ear cups. Speaking of the ear cups, they sound amazing with the open back design. I've used closed back headsets for so long I forgot what it was like to use an open back headset. I wear glasses and also have a large head lol so these work great for me. I can wear these for hours without getting headaches or warm ears. The microphone is great, though it doesn't compare to the Blackshark v2 Pro, but it doesn't trail too far behind the it. I have used it with my PS5 and Switch with no issues. If you're looking for a solid all-around gaming headset to game for long hours with great sound then please pick this up.

Was using my headphones i got with my phone, but the constant disconnecting, sound juttering and low audio quality was tiresome. I got these cause my brother recommended them and they are awesome. Its like having a home theater on a light weight headphones. Also i usually do not like over the ear and prefer earbuds with plug tips, but now ive gotten used to these and they do really well.

Headphones are always a struggle for me. Especially with my tinnitus where the longer I wear a pair, the louder the ringing in my ears become. But open back that the Atlas provides takes that away. Also very glasses friendly, too. 4 Stars because the Swarm software is somewhat finnicky.

Only just bought recently, so they're working just fine so far. Easy setup, comfortable overall, and seems to be a decent range. The only issue I had was the software (swarm 2) it wasnt working with its current update, but its been patched and fixed as of now. I think they're worth it if you're looking for a solid open-back wireless headset.

This headset is awesome! It looks like others have been having issues with the software, but its all worked very well for me. No issues with the software on windows 11 and the headset sounds fantastic! For someone who likes things loud this set gets plenty loud, especially after updating the firmware of the headset. Being an audio engineer im very picky about how headsets sound and tonality and ill tell ya, Turtle Beach got it perfect with this one. Its very comfortable and easy to adjust to fit. This one is a huge home run. Thank you Turtle Beach for making a fantastic sounding headset!

The main reason I bought this was to replace my hyper X cloud wireless 2. Nothing was wrong with them (great headset btw) but I just wanted a clearer sounding onboard mic and these were just that. Besides that, the REAL game changer for me was the head adjustment band on top. I tried these on instore and they just fit exactly how I like. (Personally have a big head) After purchasing them and trying them on at home they once AGAIN felt perfect. Pressure is nice and pain free, glasses fit with no awkward discomfort' earpads are breatheable, and so on. Now as for the sound. I did dabble a bit with the turtle beach software and made for some very interesting sound profiles. Their superhuman hearing or whatever is fun and silly but it makes the higher frequencies really stand out, mid range feels recessed and sometimes not even there and drowns out the bass. I wouldn't call it horrible but maybe just weird. The microphone is great too. For a headset mic it does very well blocking out alot of my ambient noises like my pet birds chirping or typing on my keyboard etc. Oh and the bluetooth pairing is so neat. It does NOT connect via bluetooth and the dongle simultaneously though but that's not an issue at all. There is a button for that on the ear cup to change between modes. Other than that I highly reccomend these especially since i don't have to keep adjusting the sliding mechanism on the earcups for an even fit.

Has an issue with heavy audio distortion during nearly every use. Your audio briefly gets regurgitated into robotic-like dystopian sounds and it can be immersion breaking. However, this is the most comfortable headset I’ve ever put on.

Want to start off saying these are the lightest and most comfortable headset you’ll get. Me personally I hate when headphones have such a strong clamp force and these do the complete opposite! The mic is okay and the sound is okay if you play fps games it’s OKAY but if you need extreme details ( like rainbow 6) then I wouldn’t recommend. Extremely comfortable headset though
