The Turtle Beach Burst II Pro is a little gem that really stands out, despite its small, minimal design. If you're looking for a precise, customizable, and reliable device that lasts, read on. The mouse really is aesthetically pleasing with a modest design and straightforward, no-frills shape. It has a matte black color but comes with some optional grip tape to customize it to your preferred surface style, as well as some low-friction stick-on skates for the underside of the mouse to enhance precision. It can be connected via Bluetooth, a wireless USB dongle, or wired with the included USB-C cord. The 8K PhantomFlex Cable can also be used with the dongle within closer proximity to the mouse for even more precision. The buttons themselves are ultra-responsive and feel second nature under your hand. Its DPI switch is located on the left side of the mouse at the frontmost point to provide easy access to changing its sensitivity on the fly - super convenient. When you hold this device, maybe the first thing you'll notice when you pick it up is that it is exceptionally light. If you're the type that prefers a weighty mouse that you simply glide over a surface for direction, this may not be your cup of tea. But even while weighing in at a microscopic 57g, the Burst II Pro definitely punches way above its weight class. Its extremely quick, astonishingly accurate sensor moves exactly where you want it to go, with every twitch and turn tracked, captured, and projected with an incredible low-latency that showcases the precision you need during any gaming session. If those sessions are expected to go long, you can either keep it wired during use (my preference) or rely on a purported 40 to 150 hours of wireless battery life, depending on your settings and usage. Overall, this lightweight alternative to those massive gaming mice is a breath of fresh air. The Turtle Beach Burst II Pro feels good, functions with precision, and lasts a long time. A great find.

Burst II Air with a higher polling rate.

Overall, the Burst II Pro is the same as the Burst II Air, however the Pro is granted the benefit of a higher polling rate and a higher resolution sensor to track movement. The theory here is that makes it more responsive and more sensitive for finer detail movements. Though, as far as I can tell, the mouse performs basically the same. It's a touch heavier than the Air and boasts 150 hours of battery life on a single charge. Though the AIr also has a remarkable battery life. As with any really high polling rate mice, remember, some older games may not like them very much, so you may need to lower the polling rate in settings to solve some game issues, Java Minecraft particularly hates high polling rates and will get laggy when turning. Other older games may have similar issues, but newer games shouldn't have any issues as far as I can tell. As far as fit and finish goes, Turtle Beach has a nice mouse here, the soft touch plastic shell feels good in the hands, and it's overall a nice and light mouse. The skates on the bottom glide well on my desk pad, and on the bare desk nicely with minimal extra friction. The inclusion of a reasonably long cable and a usb C to A adaptor for the Dongle is appreciated, allowing you to keep the dongle out where it gets good signal, and switch to wired for charging time when needed. Though with this mouse that shouldn't be very often. While I don't think the Burst II Pro does anything unique, we haven't seen in the world of gaming mice already from nearly every other brand, it also doesn't fail at being what it wants to be so I can't knock any points off. So, If you want a lightweight mouse with a super high polling rate then you have a fine option here.

Unboxing this mouse I was so surprised with how light it feels and was even more amazed with trying out the features that it offers. First thing is the overall feel, it's light and the buttons work great, they have a click that you can feel and it moves very accurately. There are options like the 8k polling with really low latency which when compared with a high refresh rate monitor like I have at 240hz and Nvidia Reflex, wow, you can really notice a difference in terms of the movement and accuracy of that movement on not only the gaming mouse pad but most surfaces. I was actually quite impressed with that actually working so well. I like that you can use the same cable for the transmitter and to charge it when you're not using it wirelessly, it just works seamless. It also has bluetooth so if you're on the go with your gaming laptop and want to use it while leave the cable/transmitter behind you can. It does come with some extras, in addition to the high quality USB-C cable and transmitter, it comes with grip tape and PTFE pads for the bottom so you can change it out to a different style. This mouse is great, don't let it's simple look fool you. There's a lot of features it has to offer and I have really loved how well it works/feels so far!

Turtle Beach Burst II Pro High-Performance Ultra-Lightweight mouse is another great performer from Turtle Beach in my book. I have owned a number of gaming mice and they keep improving them somehow as the years or some times months come by. Let me share some of my experiences with this new mouse from Turtle Beach. First of all, let's talk about the feel. We all want to make sure it fits and feels nicely in our palm as most of us spend a lot of hours interacting with the mouse. Thanks to its ultra light built (it weighs just 57g), this mouse makes it perfect for fast-paced games and long sessions without any palm or hand fatigue. The feel itself is very good, it has a slightly flatter top shell and I found it encourages quick wrist movements and "low-lift-off playstyles", which many FPS players prefer actually. Try it for yourself and you will see what I meant by that. Now, as many other gaming mice out there, this Turtle Beach creation has a number of excellent features built in. I would call them performance enhancers like - 8K Wireless Polling Rate. According to the specs it delivers a blazing-fast 0.125ms latency, making it one of the most responsive mice available which of course is ideal for competitive gaming. I actually had to look into the terminology of what this 8K rate is and learned a few things for myself. So an 8K wireless polling rate means the mouse reports its position to your computer 8,000 times per second or once every 0.125 milliseconds. I would say this is a massive leap from the standard 1K (1,000 Hz) polling rate, which updates every 1 millisecond. I know low latency means a lot to a gamer, as your cursor pretty much reacts more immediately to your hand movements, reducing input lag. And you get smoother tracking with it, especially noticeable in high refresh rate monitors (240Hz+). This mouse boasts 750 IPS tracking speed, which means the mouse sensor can accurately track movement at speeds up to 750 inches per second. Most gaming mice offer around 400–650 IPS and at 750 IPS, this Burst II Pro mouse can handle extremely fast flicks and swipes without losing precision. Love it! This is an excellent mouse which has a great battery life, awesome performance. I have not had any issues with it and will continue using it. It is somewhat pricey so I let it lose one star in my review.

I got the Turtle Beach Burst II Pro wireless gaming mouse for my son, who’s a pretty serious gamer, and he absolutely loves it. Right out of the box it feels super lightweight but still sturdy, and he commented immediately on how smooth and accurate the tracking is. He said the clicks feel fast and responsive without that hollow, cheap sound some mice have. The wireless connection has been solid so far—no lag or random disconnects—and he really likes how long the battery lasts. He’s been using it for long gaming sessions and hasn’t had to recharge nearly as often as with his old mouse. The shape is also really comfortable for him, even after hours of playing. I sometimes borrow his laptop to do some work and used the mouse for basic browsing and found it so smooth I think I’d like one for myself! Overall, for the price and performance, this mouse ended up being a great buy. My son’s thrilled with it, and I’m happy I found something he actually uses every day. Would definitely recommend it for any gamers in the house!

I have several Turtle Beach electronics since they make great head sets and other electronics. This a nice mouse with no weights for gaming but gaming quality and accuracy. It took a bit to adjust from my old weighted mouse. This high performance Burst II Pro has plenty of features though can be better managed with the utility software which I suggest to download. It comes with two stickers with textured grip for each of the left and right click buttons for a better feel and comfort. There are also sticker to interchange the bottom for better sliding experience. I did not notice a difference from the ones that come pre-installed. Included are also side sticker for all around better grip. The Swarm II software has macros for almost every major FPS game I play which is nice. It can be paired via Bluetooth or direct RF via the USB dongle included, which has it own compartment The rechargeable battery lasts quite long on daily, constant use though usually charge it overnight. The only reason to give 4 stars is the adjustment from weighted vs extremely light weight change.

Decent Mouse; Feels a Little Flimsy

It is not a bad mouse. It certainly gets the job done. Let's start with the basics. This mouse is light; its sensitivity is adjustable to 30,000 dots per inch (DPI); and it is wireless. It feels nice to hold when you first put your hand on it. The scroll wheel is quite satisfying compared to other mice I have used. Why did I take off two stars? I'm not sure if this is standard with mice, but the mouse just feels cheaply made for the price. It seems to be made out of plastic, and the bottom part flexes so much when I push on it that it's almost like I can break it with one finger. Other than that, I like how the mouse has both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth options. This allows me to use it with my laptop and PC at the same time, meaning I don't need two separate mice. I can use the same mouse for both if I want. Overall, this is a decent mouse, but for the price, I believe it is a little cheaply made. For someone who just wants a mouse that gets the job done and feels "nice," this is a great mouse.
