Very convenient to have volume controls on my controller. The sound quality seems to be amplified even though there is no built inline amplifier. Preset sound options are nice.

It’s a healthy improvement from the one Microsoft forces you to buy. The touch is spot on with its rubberized pads and the lights are helpful to know you’re levels at a glance. The price is a little steep so get it on sale but if you need it you need it. The coupling of this with a turtle beach headset is kinda pointless since they both have the “base/sound boost” feature which is a glorified power throttle. So other then that it works as expected and is just as hard to take off your controller if you’re using a stand charger. Thumbs warned.

Helps me to be able to make my headset compatible with my Xbox remote work I can mute it and turn up the volume without having to go into settings

If you want to use a pc headset this is what you need. It does what its suppose to do but i consider it to be on the pricey side considering what is does.

Kind of expensive for what it is but cheaper than the official microsoft version. Works great with my turtle beach x12 headset

With this adapter there is no need to by a specific headset. Now you can use any one you want to. And to be able to change volume and mute chat right from the controller is great.
