They were having issues with in-ears and on-ears headsets hurting after wearing for awhile. We got these and they're just the right amount of pressure and padding to not cause ear/head pain. The sound and mic quality are fine and more than adequate for 99% of gamers. At this price, it's hard to expect anything more.

Best head set I’ve ever had. Definitely one of the very best gaming headsets on the market. I give this item a five star rating all the way.

Started great, but then a dud

Initial review would have been 5*. worked great out the box. plug and play with ps4 controller or PC. Sound was good. Fit was comfortable. Took about a month for mic to become iffy and them stop working all together. Headphones still work, but kind of useless without the mic. Replaced with a Razer Kraken. This was also great at first, but when it quit the whole set became useless. Just ordered a Steelseries Arctis 1 wireless. Should arrive this week. Hoping the wireless factor will eliminate some issues cheaper headsets have with cheap wiring. As for the turtle beach in this review - works great until it doesn't. save your money and find a more reliable headset or at least buy the product replacement plan or a squaretrade plan so you can replace them for cheaper then buying a new set outright.

I started looking for expensive brands at the beginning, then one of the employees at Best Buy store told me about this brand . The quality is excellent!!! And the best thing My son is in love with them,
